I prefer purchasing my games and movies in physical format. Plus, this is very concerning to me and i despise it very much. I hope physical media never dies, regardless of the times.

Nothing going happeneing still making xbox games alot people can't do digital just rumors
I like physical games for consoles. Many console games have resale value. Sold Super Metroid SNES for more than I paid for it. PC games I don’t mind digital as they are normally tied to Steam/platform and cant be resold. Once all games are digital Xbox/Sony can raise the subscription prices and gamers are stuck.

I've never been that interested in Xbox consoles, my brother had the original and I was given a 360 that I barely touched outside of Blue Dragon and something else.
Still this is a very bad sign for the industry. Sure people are still somewhat Happy with gamepass now, and that's because its designed to be a slow boil trap. The prices are going to keep rising.
On the flip side Nintendo have been reducing their over all print count for first party releases to roughly 50% of the expected targets. (and this number may be even lower now, looking at Detective Pikachu 2)
There is still time for Nintendo to pull a switcheroo on their next system and go digital only. But currently they are the frount runner of the physical gaming market worldwide.
Sony have announced on their refresh of the PS5 a upgrade path to a physical bluray attachment. But they haven't promised long term availability of these drives, or what the percentage of the availability will be.
So while I don't think this will be the last Black Friday at retail stores, it's certainly looking like there's going to be a massive downgrade for next year's video game physical deals. *(Which typically are far better in price over digital.)
Ultimately not having a store to buy games in will drastically reduce my personal shopping trips and will likely reduce my desire to even step into these department store electronics sections altogether. And with no local stores to give money to, I'm going to have to give Amazon on my game money... But what incentive do they have to sell games at a competitive price if they are the monopoly resource for physical games?
No it not .game still been made for ps4 and ps5 and xbox one xbox xseries. Just want to stop selling because they want it not because digital .probably rumor .dont believe until i see it

Microsoft retired the Xbox Live naming in September 23, replacing it instead with Xbox Game Pass Core. This new service costs the same as Xbox Live Gold, gives you access to the Xbox multiplayer servers, and a catalog of 25 games. If you want to play online with your friends, you'll either need an Xbox GP Core or Xbox GP Ultimate subscription. Its just as before, no actually you get more games to play than in xbox live!!
