You can also clone, for example, Kodi... but now with the new Fire TVs you cannot access the android folder... and it is no longer possible. But AnyDesk is super useful
Very interesting but without the control feature there is a much easier way to do the same thing. Video call them on their phone and get them to point the phone's camera at the fire stick screen, you can then tell them what to do 😊
I have tried that myself but I had to keep asking them to keep the camera steady and keep the camera up where they would keep dropping in down and cutting off parts of the screen.
@@cwtek1Being more helpful, check out TechdoctorUK must be a year or so ago, he showed a control program that did work, however, when I tried it on a different friends fire stick it wouldn't work so I gave up. Maybe it has been updated, unfortunately I can't remember what the name of the program was.
I have tried that so many times, and it's an absolute nightmare. My older family members hardly even know how to hold a phone still and pointed at the info I want.
Without the ability to use a mouse and keyboard remotely and can ONLY view. Then you could do the same thing with a simple video call. Therefore, until they fix the addon. Then this app is basically worthless.
I have tried doing this a few times over a video call but it can be painful as trying to get the person at the other end to hold the camera still whilst following instructions and point to the right place is virtually impossible, at least with this you get a clear view of the whole screen.
Nice walkthrough and informative 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed
