    Sorry about that.
    Wavedash/Lightdash and Backdash tutorial for pad users!! This easy method will have you learn how to be a pro in 10 minutes! Sorry about the bad microphone sound. Also this is my first tutorial ever... Lol
    For further explanation, the timing of both inputs is that of a crouchdash or the speed of doing a shoryuken motion. Enjoy :)

    omfg you dont you how much i troubled with wavedash until i found your tutorial. Ater an hour practicing i can pull the electrics pretty consistently by registering 2+3 to R2, my wavedash is much faster and my left thumb is not hurt anymore lol cant thank you enough

      @@Moruma I was referring to your problem with having your right thumb busy with the right analog stick. If you use L2 as 2+3 instead of the 2 button, your right thumb doesnt need to move away from the analog stick, or you dont need to switch to a one handed wavedash for instant electrics :)

    Good way to utilize the analog button, but the problem with it is you place your right thumb/finger too far from the button so make it harder to pull a just frame moves like EWGF.
    i prefer to use my left thumb only for wavedashing, it is slower but more controlled.

    If you could physically alter the PCB in a controller so this doesn't require accessibility options then this might be decent. It sounds scummy but if hitbox is legal don't see why this is a problem, at the end of the day it's not a macro it's just customization

    I can vouch for what you say. I can wave dash and Korean back dash with just the D pad only but it's not that quick due to sluggish inputs. It's the way the game registers the inputs from the pad as there is no d/f on the pad as you have to hit d and f together. I hate that which is the reason why I bought a simple arcade stick to practice on and I can't wait for it to come. If it's good I will never look back at a stupid pad. Also nice trick with the analogue stick might give this ago.

    I don't like playing with a controller but it's so much quieter and comfortable than a loud and heavy arcade stick. Most of the time I pick up my controller instead of my arcade stick because of this.

    • @Moruma
      @Moruma  6 лет назад

      Crunk Playa69 Not all sticks are heavy, it depends on the style. Some are lighter than a dualshock or just as heavy. But, it's all about preference!

    • @crunkplaya6929
      @crunkplaya6929 6 лет назад

      +JinMasta Way to state the obvious but you and I both know the best sticks are big and heavy. It needs to be large enough so that both hands can rest on it and it has to be heavy enough so that it doesn't move all over the place while you play. The buttons also need to feel tactile with good feedback and they have to be larger and spread out evenly so you don't make any wrong inputs. This is why the best arcade sticks are heavier and larger. Spending $30 on an awful fightstick where you can't even rest your palms on it and the buttons are not as responsive is the same as flushing money down the toilet. Every person I know who has a cheap fightstick has bought a $100+ fightstick and their cheap one is thrown in the garbage because they can't even resell it. Nobody wants to buy it.

    • @Moruma
      @Moruma  6 лет назад

      Crunk Playa69 That actually has very little to do with it. What matters the most are good parts. Everybody likes different kinds of stick weighing heavy or light with or without wrist room and of course control layout. There are plenty of sticks that don't have wrist room. Everything is marketing. Usually thick or thin stainless steel at the bottom helps create weight rather than helping absorb temperature. The quality of the rubber feet determines exactly how much the stick will move. Weight plays a small factor because no matter what stick, if you take away rubber feet that thing is gonna move everywhere. What determines the stick price is the overall base design, technical performance (efficiency), parts design (lever, buttons), software (turbo, macro/dual mod), and flexibility (interchangeability between parts and art).

    • @crunkplaya6929
      @crunkplaya6929 6 лет назад

      +JinMasta No, my answer isn't wrong, you're just unnecessarily getting more in-depth with the arcade stick quality. I was only stating the basics because I didn't want to write a whole essay since there's no point in doing so on a youtube comment. You saying this is like me saying that, "No, you're wrong, the stick quality is also about the additional spacing of the joystick relative to the buttons, whether it has an octagonal gate instead of a square, the speed of the gate return, whether it has authentic sanwa components or kuro buttons, and whether the design quality can withstand hundreds of hours of abuse." I mean, you can keep going on and on about what makes a fightstick the best. It's just stupid. Someone says the best cars have good quality and comfort and you chime in and say they're wrong because the most expensive cars are the ones with good traction, mileage, and design. That's basically all you've done. You're not fooling anybody.

    • @Moruma
      @Moruma  6 лет назад

      Crunk Playa69 Crunk Playa69 No, you're basically saying that something that depends on many factors is black and white. Nice try making me out to be an idiot. You're the one that ignorantly said that the best sticks are huge and heavy while implying that "best sticks" are $100 and everything below are simply budget sticks. Only an idiot would think that bigger and heavier means better. Keep in mind, Knee's original PS3 stick was made out of see through hard plastic with solid Korean parts which looks like it's made with the cost of around $60 if he bought everything from scratch. Even if you don't have the frame, the parts aren't that expensive if you know what you're looking for and install them on a custom base. Huge money cost and weight doesn't mean anything. Smh

      The only person who understands this method lol. Seriously tho, Mixbox and Hitbox let you do insane movement because everything is a button.
      God forbid we pad players get to change our analog controls. Smh
      Plus this is not a "sad* method, it's an alternative method of doing it if one does not want to practice doing it on dpad. There's benefits to doing it on dpad so obviously those who use this method understand the cons they must go through, such as having less time to press one of the attack buttons.
      Just wanted to rant a bit lol nothing personal to either of you 👍

      Nomentsoa There isn't a tag mode in T7 so there's nothing to worry about. If you're still playing TTT2, my only answer will be that you have to make a compromise. You can't have good backdash/wavedash at the expense of nothing. Simply try tagging with L1/R1 or left stick.

      JinMasta if the cross up is allowed in tournaments where there’s directional input on both sides of a fighting stick then this should def be allowed.
      Edit: after reading up on official evo rules this is allowed. Pretty much anything is allowed as long as a SOCD is enabled and there’s no mapping of buttons that allows for directional plus command inputs.

      its the most efficiency and easy way to backdash IT must have only 1 neutral, I will make a video by this weekend I gonna teach every1 ppl got this wrong and this its fundamental to be a good player and make the game more enjoyable, wait for it bro I think u gonna like it, I will show even exercises to build muscle memory =), what u r doing its called backward wavedash

    • @Marlboro17228138
      @Marlboro17228138 7 лет назад +1

      if you pick a character like dragunov or Feng and if u do this the character won't move back instead will do a backsway

    • @Moruma
      @Moruma  7 лет назад

      Marlboromishima ! Yes I know, but don't you think people should already know the input for backsway characters? If I told them the input was "b~n~db..." do you still think they'd be able to do it? It's like telling them to do a PEWGF with the analog stick. There's a reason why I didn't mention any backsway characters.

    • @Marlboro17228138
      @Marlboro17228138 7 лет назад +2

      the input for kbd its easier in reality its B~bd~n~B~bd~n~B~bd~n~.... so (B=HOLDING BACK),(bd=slide from B to bd(DIAGONAL)),(n=neutral position wich mean lift your finger), after finger lifted hit and hold back quick. the trick is that when u do b~bd~n~ the game register b~d/b~b~n. wich mean that u can buffer the first b of ur next backdash
      note: U CAN ONLY LIFT THE FINGER IN "n" ,95% OF THE TIME U R JUST HOLDING BACK
