The Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless is new headset that's a step up from the Corsair Void Pro but a lesser model than the Corsair Virtuoso.
This headset features similar specs to the Void Pro but slightly enhanced for better sound.

This is almost certainly the best gaming headset Corsair has crafted to date. For several different reasons.
1 - It comes with Corsair Slipstream wireless technology, as well as other connection options including USB-C and 3.5mm.
2 - It's a high-fidelity, high-res headset that is capable of 96kHz/24 bit audio when connected to a PC using the USB-C
3 - It has 20 hours of battery life before it needs charging.
4 - It has a premium design that includes large earcups and faux leather padding that blocks out external noise. As well as 50mm drivers and 7.1 virtual surround sound with customisable EQ options in the Corsair iCue software.
5 - A "broadcast quality" microphone that's suprisingly good. The voice over for this video was recorded with that mic to let you hear it for yourself.
One other thing that Corsair doesn't mention is the fact this headset also works with smartphones via USB-C to USB-C connection, but they don't supply a cable for it oddly.

Your videos deserve many more views, especially these comparisons and reviews. They actually look like proper reviews rather than advertisements pretending to be reviews that other big name tech-tubers seem to be putting out.

I made two mistakes in this video:
1 - The Void Elite does have an extendable headband
2 - The Virtuoso's ear cups are removable

The Void Elite does have an extendable headband on the very top but its so loose most people will be fine on the smallest setting.

I have had the pleasure of owning both headsets, replaced my Voids with the Virtuoso SE's, and I prefer the fabric over the "pleathery" earcups.
And that's why it's such a subjective thing! You prefer the Virtuoso for sound though presumably?
@@TheProvokedPrawn indeed. I find the sound of the Virtuoso's alot more immerse than the Voids. I also owned a pair of Logitech Artemis G933's in between and they were hands down the most comfortable headsets I've ever owned
I agree about the pleather on the virtuoso. I prefer my void pros for comfort overall but everything else I love the virtuoso. Plus I think there needs to be more memory foam on the headband. I might mod my virtuoso slightly to add more foam cause in in a dilemma now :O
@@Roxifer1 Interesting. I hate the fabric on the Voids, but then I find the Virtuosos to be super uncomfortable after a short time. Glad to hear you're enjoying them otherwise though!
for the Virtuoso, i found that it felt a bit shallow on the lower and higher ends, but adjusting the EQ settings fixed this.
I feel so weird that the things people hate about the void, are what I love about it.

@@diegomr low pressure on the headband it rests stop your head but doesn't clamp down. It also had fabric ear cup covers which I find to be very breathable compared to leather.

Just bought some virtuoso, white ones first proper headset its incredible even purchased the corsair headset stand, which gives 7.1 surround sound on ps4🙂 also you should voice some sort of pod casts or documentaries could fall asleep to your voice 😂

@@Tony_zr after owning them for over a month now, the quality is amazing, sound comfort battery life, distance all really amazing, what I would say is after 2, 3,4,5 hours my outter ears start to hurt abit, I have flat ears pretty much but I could imagine someone with pointy ears would be in discomfort after an hour, they are shallow, but you can change the leather foam on them to make them deeper, any other questions feel free to ask :)
@@JordRides damn man they sound decent ive been looking for a good headset for ps4 and i looked at these im just not sure whether they will work well on ps4 but i heard so many bad and good things about this headset but one thing i heard is that they have a very good mic which makes me more interested in buying this headset.
4:40 for anyone who comes across this i solved this issue buy ordering some much nicer ear cups then attaching them to a 3d printing mount to put onto the headset
you could also if you lack a 3d printer cut the ear cup off the stock ones and reuse that mount but that will void your warranty
My feedback after using the Void Elite Wireless for a few months, it's a waste of money, battery fully charged = +- 2 hours in wireless mode => almost exclusively using them in wired mode. :(

I prefer virtuoso since u can conect it to ipad pro 2020 becoz of the usb c cable by Apple and the charging port for the virtuoso do combine so 40,000 hertz for free

Just one question, I'm 15 so my head is not so big, are this headset as horrible as they say in terms of comfortableness??? I was thinking in buying them and seeing the reviews of people that says that they have had to return them because their ears hurts, i was thinkking on buying hyper x cloud flight s but in the rest of aspects corsair virtuoso are better. So, people with the corsair, are they that uncomfortable???? Thanks.

How does the audio compare between the HS70 Pro and the Virtuoso? Anyone know? I dont use the mic much so not worried too much about that.
Do the Earcups from the Virtuosu cover your ears completely.

No they press into your ears and the foam is quite thin.

I have em and love em, they sound as good as my Sony MDR-1A which blow the door off most headphones in that price range. I do however recommend using them for a while before you judge the sound, most people tend to try em, then rate em after an hr use when the drivers haven't even broken in yet. I've tried my Virtuosos in all 3 modes, wired 3.5/usb and wireless and all sound fantastic. You do want to run it in stereo if you don't plan on doing a lot of gaming but i found that even for music 7.1 sounds incredibly good. I tested mine with FLAC only files and will be writing a review on these when i feel they've broken in properly.

I doni't understand why the Tech Specs for this headset says you can get Headphone Frequency Response 20Hz - 40 kHz, but you said it can get up to 90 khz if it's plugged in.
You can't get 96KHz over wireless generally

Is the 2 years warranty (parts & labor) also include the ear pads? I'm afraid it going to wear out after a year or so.

@@PUTLEADINURHEAD As long as it's the manufacturer's fault then they will replace it, but if it was the user's fault then no. If it wears out then they will charge you for a replacement. I ended up returning it, not because of these reasons but the ear cups overheat and hurt my ears after a while. Shame because I REALLY love this headset. If only the ear cups were oval instead of round and a bit deeper.

I own the Corsair Void Elite Wireless and after a year they are ready to be replaced. I replaced the battery but now they never charge fully.
I'm looking for a new cordless gaming headset WITH SIDETONE and was looking at the Cosair Virtuoso, but I wanted to see of I could get better since you said you cannot recomend them.
What's a better cordless set? The Hyperx Cloud has no sidetone but that was my first choice.
Any help would be wonderful from anyone. btw, Provoked Prawn is a killer funny name. I love it.
I only wouldn't recommend them because my ears are too large and hurt. Otherwise they're great. If you want wireless I'd suggest the following - Astro A50 (if you're on PC), Turtle Beach Elite Atlas, SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless.

Not tried the HS70 I'm afraid. The Virtuoso is best on PC as well.

You can upgrade the earcups for pretty cheap....not a good reason to not use it.
You shouldn't have to upgrade something you've just paid a lot of money for.

You need to be wired on PC. Then you can get 96Khz audio.

@@brotherpanda3626 what device are you using it on? On PC you can go to windows sound settings and switch to 96Khz and its far superior. IMO. Plus obviously you need iCue.

Yes. Mic quality is much better and looks way better and comfort depends on your head size.

Void pro vs Virtuoso
Mr Prawn, i know this is something corsair should have included from the get go but i ended up buying this. www.amazon.co.uk/UGREEN-Degree-Charge-Support-Samsung/dp/B07G6VSP9S/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=usb%2Bc%2B90%2Bdegree&qid=1572823987&sr=8-9&th=1. Could buy it in whatever length and they also make it in a usbc-usbc, however i did notice that the braiding still made noise on clothing so i cut the braiding at both ends and removed it. The headphones have totally gone from what would be a 7 to at least an 8.5 out of 10. My Sony MDR-1A never had that problem as it came with a 3.5mm thick rubber cable no braiding, the 3.5mm port on the headphone is also offset and upwards so it didn't rub on your shoulders. I highly consider giving the cable a try if you plan on using em wired liked i have. 3m should be more then enough, i bought 2m and have it wrapped around my desk to keep it off the ground.
For people who want to use em with a usb-c device the cable i linked also comes in usbc to usbc and should be perfect.
Yeah that rubbing on clothing thing is a shame.

Virtuoso are dogshit with god awful 7.1 performance and the most uncomfortable earcups I've ever worn. Literally no reason to buy the Virtuoso.
