    Another thing to test with these headsets is the mic pickup range. lots of gamers have mechanical keyboards (as do I) and most mics will pick up the clicking sound. for example if you play Overwatch and want to have the open mic feature on you are constantly activating the voice comms and everyone keeps hearing your clicking keyboard forcing you to mute. That makes it more difficult to communicate with your team. Would love to see some additional testing to see how different gaming/streaming headphones hold up under the mechanical keyboard test :)

      We have 3 for me and my two boys. Work great for over a year now. I really like how you just unplug the usb and the computer automatically goes back to speakers...no fiddling with settings or anything. Same for when you plug back in. One of the mics stopped working a month or two ago (my kids are constantly plugging and unplugging the usb and mics - they use the headset with their ipads too) and one email to Corsair support later they sent a new mic and all is good. I would recommend.

    What is better the corsair hs60 pro or the void elite with wired?

  • @thegrafxguy1

    the flip up to mute is awesome. the headset i use for work does that and it's so much better than having to click the mute button all the time on the screen and the sound that comes along with that in discord.

    A friend gave me a Corsair case that he didn’t use anymore. The build quality impressed me. I’ve been looking for a wireless headset, and might give the Void Wireless a try.

    • @TheTechBuyersGuru
      @TheTechBuyersGuru  3 года назад

      The Void Wireless is awesome, but as I noted in the video, it has a larger fit than other Corsair headsets. If Corsair headsets typically "run small", the Void "runs big", sort of like shoes! Here are the links to Corsair's two $100 wireless headsets:
      Corsair Void Elite Wireless ($100 MSRP): amzn.to/3h5A9Uv
      Alternative for smaller heads: Corsair HS70 Pro Wireless ($100 MSRP): amzn.to/2KEjyLb

    Good to still see videos coming out. Quick question: are there good itx boards available for the 5950x?

    • @TheTechBuyersGuru
      @TheTechBuyersGuru  3 года назад

      Troy, I haven't heard of any new ITX AM4 boards launching alongside Zen 3, but there were a few good X570 and B550 boards that would work fine, assuming they have the proper firmware. The 5950X isn't unique in its power requirements, in fact the 3950X was arguably more power hungry. If you don't already have the 5950X (I'm waiting to find one in stock myself!), that will give time for the retail channel to clear of older ITX shipments. Of course, if you have an older AM4 processor, you can flash the firmware yourself. I'd probably aim for the Asus ROG X570-I: click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=WAzU8cLhuCU&mid=44583&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.newegg.com%2Fasus-rog-strix-x570-i-gaming%2Fp%2FN82E16813119209%3FItem%3DN82E16813119209%26quicklink%3Dtrue
      Some boards, like the Gigabyte B550I that I use for my ITX test bench, have a USB Flashback button. Here's a link to that board: click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=WAzU8cLhuCU&mid=44583&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.newegg.com%2Fgigabyte-b550i-aorus-pro-ax%2Fp%2FN82E16813145222%3FItem%3DN82E16813145222
      I'm curious what other components you are planning on using... a 5950X in an ITX system suggests something serious!

      @@TheTechBuyersGuru I was thinking something along the lines of your build with the SG14 $2000 build. I have lots of videos to make for work so I want some muscle under the hood. I want it to be a fairly serious all purpose machine.

    I have a Samson Meteor desk mic and cabled Philips SHP9500 open back hedphones, and quality wise I've never had anything this good! But one day I would love to find a pair of wireless headphones (no mic) that sounds this good. Untile then, I will have to suffer the cable...

    I love my audio but never considered Corsair as a solution. Love their 275R TG cases. I will try to find somewhere to listen to them. Comfort is important too and that is why I switched from the Sennheiser wireless headphones to the Klipsch Momentum earbuds. Corsairs are going to have to be pretty good to get me to switch.

      I hear you on that. I've been incredibly impressed with the Virtuoso headset. Feels like a premium audiophile brand, much more than any "gaming" headset I've tried.

    Hello, about quite a few months ago I was watching your one of your videos on best 120mm case fan, and you said for non rgb, I should get the arctic p12 pwm 120 and the silverstone ab120r-argb. I can't find any reviews on the silverstone fan!! Would you still say that that fan is one of the best argb 120mm fans? When I google best 120mm argb fans, I can't find it anywhere; there's no reviews other than you. I was planning on buying 3 of the silverstone fans for my front panel and 1 arctic fan for the rear, let me know if you would still recommend the silverstone fan! Thanks, and have a great Christmas and new years!

    • @TheTechBuyersGuru
      @TheTechBuyersGuru  3 года назад

      Hey there rose221! The SilverStone AB120R is still the best ARGB fan I've tested. I will actually be doing a full 120mm ARGB fan shootout in February, re-testing the AB120R against a half-dozen competitors, but until then, my recommendation remains the same!
      Here's the link to the AB120R on Amazon: amzn.to/3p8TMhg

    A small note, the virtuoso non SE microphone actually has a much better quality than the SE, the normal version is suprisingly good, probably one of the best headset microphones on the market, might be worth to give it a try.

    • @TheTechBuyersGuru
      @TheTechBuyersGuru  3 года назад +1

      I have read that, but my hunch is that the initial reviewers who tested both headsets at launch had the SE's mic too close to their mouths. I think both are very good, but the SE's is more powerful and has to be used slightly differently.

    Recently bought an arctis pro wireless and the gd thing didn't fit my head out of the box... There's no friggin length of strap adjustment. Just the junk elastic ski goggles thing. And it's the most expensive headset ever. So frustrated.
