About Jackson:
Jackson began back in the late 1970s, when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity and a small Southern California guitar repair shop became the epicenter of a new level of shred-approved excellence. Ever since then, Jackson guitars have been universally lauded as the metal guitars; the shred machines-highly original high-performance instruments of distinctive style and formidable substance. From metal’s chart-topping peaks to its darkest recesses, for discerning guitarists all over the globe, Jackson is the only way to go.

He's right there next to Hetfield as the 2nd best rythm player of the 80s. I mean what a talented precise/clean machine he is.
And you're both ignoring Jon Schaffer of Iced Earth. Probably the closest comparison to Hetfield out of any guitarist out there (the argument could be made that he is actually better than Hetfield).
Gary Holt..
Dave Mustaine.
When he spontaneously walked on stage to his rig it got a strong "Scott invites us into his living room to show us his awesome stuff and sounds, take a seat!" vibe :)
"Still to this day, the kids go nuts." Love it. That is indeed a badass riff.
Û
The only thing that changes with Scott is the color of his goatee, that man does not age. He is infact a guitar God.
Yeah..Hey, Scott, I'm a 46 yo kid how still goes nuts with thouse riff
Saw you play a f ew weeks ago in Leeds UK ..... 30 years since I last saw you play ... You lost nothing 👍👍👍☮☮☮☮🤘🤘🤘

Awesome song, and the best damn rythem player since Malcolm young. He understands how important a tight rythem is to hold a song together. He's a master of his craft, for sure.
TBH, I've never thought of him being more than just a really solid rhythm player. Also - consider that Charlie writes a lot of riffs for Anthrax, or even the vast majority. I would never consider him as the GOAT, or near it.
@what about the situation yeah. It's not like he's in one of the 4 most successful metal bands EVER, or gresch got him to play, review, and do a video about the Malcolm young signature model or anything.
@what about the situation 🤣
@@Howdy699 oh look, someone that thinks they know something. What a joke indeed.
Getting a lot of dumb replies on this one, if you don't play/ understand music, I don't want to hear it. Malcolm young was the rythem player for AC/DC. He is famous among guitar players for staying in his lane, and keeping the band together. That's what a great rythem player does. Scott Ian famously does the same thing, only in thrash. Some of these comments are hilarious. Stop chewing on your feet guys.
One of the all time great thrash metal songs
Nice Jachson Guitar, love that colour of green.
My favorite guitarist ever!!!
Indians was incredible Among the Living when it came out was a greattime to be a teenage boy! All the metal in 86 when I was 13.
Yeah I LOVED that album back then. So good. Right there next to Reign In Blood and MOP.
Anthrax got me into comic books , great band, Scott Ian is an incredible player
he is literally terrible and fucking boring compared to everyone else from his era
Mo cabecita de algodón era un señoron gracias x todo lo que nos has dado y también gracias x todo lo que has logrado .
Gracias Mi paisano AMLO
Amazing!
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻love that crunch🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
That was a really good album in general. The green King V is sweet.
It's totally sick!
Not green, a Dime Slime V done as a tribute to Dime 😁
@@ClinicalDecisionYikesYT You're right. He showed it off in another video about his collection.

JACKSON!🤘🤘🤘
Anthrax has given us 40 years of music. They are icons for so many other reasons rhough. I saw them with Megadeth at the Universal Amphitheater about 10 years ago. No words to describe how good they and Megadeth are live.
Cherry blossom the operational
Scott Ian ! 🤘
Fanfntastic!!!
Ciao Scott from Italy!!! Yeah. 🤘

I tried to be Scott Ian once... Turns out I'm just Jeff. May give it a shot again in my 40s
Scott’s most definitely the Keef of thrash metal
No

great shirt and guitar😁👍
Broncco El Salvador: guerra nuclear. An big song in truth omg!
Very cool!
BADASS!!
beast
Thanks for moving
It will ALWAYS be the MOSH PART to me!
That upstroke at 1:10 🤟🤟
I know right? That grating / scrape really gets the CHUG going - same with John Petrucci's opening on The Mirror (Awake) 7string...
CC J
I like that he walked onto the stage and played the riff so it sound louder
I pre ordered the King V Dimeslime. Man I wish the headstock was gonna be green like that. 😂🤟
I used to write my riffs that way as well. If it did not have a cool symmetrical pattern like Scott explained I ditched it till I came up with something that fit what I heard in my head. Alas old age has caught up with me and I can no longer write or play those kind of riffs anymore.
The Best Riff ever!!!
Moshpit part 🤘
First comment : I love Jackson Guitars
Scott Ian grande con antharx!!!
Been a huge fan of ANTHRAX my whole life since 83' but have never seen them in concert.😔🤘
That’s a killer breakdown Riff 🤘🤘
all guitar tabs I find on this song are wrong.. not a single tab gets the wardance part right. . does someone have a tab like he plays it here?
Scott Ian🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Hi from México like metal
Hi Scott I’m sorry for not taking you up on the invitation to electric lady studios!Dom deluca is out on the road with PANTERA, I hope to be seeing you before Anthrax reunites and goes out back on the Road!Cheers, eddie.
It drives me crazy when they call us kids we've been listening to Anthrax for 30 God damn years not a kid
Right!!!! LOL
Been a 'Thrax fan 36 for yrs so far. Im kool with being called a kid 😁 old skool metalhead; growing older is mandatory, growing up is optional - and im still that 80s teen messin about and being a total dumbass. Never gona change, its who i am but yea, its all good being called a kid by Scott coz he's the man. Keeps ya young at heart. I got 4 kids aswell so it helps being a childish dumbass and my kids think im mad as fook! Its all fun Gona die someday so may aswell enjoy life n not bow to societies expectations of grow up, have kids, settle down, do the 9-5, come home, sit watch tv, go to bed. Too fooking boring. Peace 🤘🏻
I want that Shirt, who can i buy this??? 🙈 Awesome Riff and a Killer Guitar, you are my Man!!!
Cool
✌️
oh shit! New Seymour Duncan in the bridge!! Probably his sig pickup!
YUP :)
I MUST LEARN THEE DAANCE
Just saw them few months ago at Orlando House of blues with Black label society and Hatebreed, was a kick ass show they rocked
👍
I’ve been calling it blowing up the bridge since my first thrash band in 1987. I was 13 and the oldest guy in the band was 15. We couldn’t play solos worth a shit so we just filled a little time with blowing up the bridge.
ARITANA DE OXÓSSI 🦅💙🧚♀️🧚♂️
I wonder if that's tuned low?

It’s ashamed there is no Real Rock and Roll 🎸 Radio stations left in New York..

🥱
Muito bom mesmo tocar muito
Cool shirt! Couldn't find it
WARDANCE.
Hey there featuring a riff that people actually paid for
Eu suw,. Fam
I had an orange pack they are cheap and steezy
I have always loved "Baldino" - Scott Ian has to me always been, despite ALL the fame, the hanger-on sycophants that come with success - he just never seems to have been affected at all. He's always been extremely 'grounded' as a person in interviews, and he said something well over a decade ago I reckon NOT many guitarists would admit to - he openly said "I am not a lead or shredding guitarist". He plays rthym guitar, that's his wheel house, and boy does he seriously kick arse. Of ALL the greats, and to me I disagree with Scott on this one point - SI's ALWAYS been a MASSIVE Randy Rhoads fan, RR's was 'the' player who's been his biggest influence. Not 'my' choice, but sure is his.
Baldini*
Жух!
Uhm...that doesn't look like a JB in the bridge. It looks like some kind of hybrid pole piece/bar pickup
His signature proto from Duncan.
@@aek4018 interesting. His previous sig was the El Diablo double bar, but then he moved back to the JB. Looking forward to reading/hearing more about this.
@@johnconnor6706 He talks more about it in the newest PG Rig Rundown :)
Invite Trey Azaghtoth from morbid angel to play his Jackson warrior and talks about his solos full of lava and his powerfull riffs
I second that!! And make it a 3 hour video!
Yeeeeah!

You’re in one of the bands that killed the guitar solo. Rhythm guitar players are half a Penny a dozen. Especially simple rhythms you play.
Кроме бороды показать нечего😄
Sounds extremely Metallica Esq.

Thank You Scott and The Whole Anthrax Crew ... NOT
Lo malo son los orribles comersiales
Dudes tiny.
Jackson is a great guitar but lol Scott Ian? Please get a better guitarist to represent
Like it or not, he's a legend and a solid rhythm player, it's not about the speed, Man... :)
@@aek4018 great rhythm guitarist but I wouldn’t go as far as saying a legend. That’s a strong word to use. Hendrix, Rhodes, Van Halen for example are legends.
@@Danfromoverthere Fair enough,. Ian is a thrash legend 😉
I wish jackson wasn't bought by fender. Just terrible.
So in a nutshell:
Charlie Benante wrote the riff like always and Scott pretending he did it.
🥱😴
Is that based on anything that actually, really happened in the actual, real world . . .
. . . or are you just making shtt up?
He can't solo 😄😄
