- An aide to Mayor Eric Adams was robbed at gunpoint in Downtown Brooklyn on Tuesday morning. Two men walked up to the aide at Sands Street and Navy Street, near the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and demanded that he give them his belongings, police said. The staffer refused to give in to their demands. The muggers, one of them armed with a handgun, then pushed the aide to the ground and stole his wallet and phone, authorities said. The aide wasn't hurt.

If the perpetrators are caught DA Alvin Bragg should treat them like he treats all of the other criminals that are brought before him. The first option is to drop the charges. If not then next he should release them on little or no bail pending trial. If and when they go to court, if convicted, they should be given probation so that they can go back out on the streets and do some more robberies and the revolving door cycle can repeat and continue.
And he apparently told the robbers that he worked for the mayor...🤣...didn't help..LOL
