What Shad doesn't realise is that he has demoted himself to being the AI's assistant and editor, and he's *not even good* at that. Some of the AI generations, the ones he didn't touch, looked better dynamically than his "finished piece" - even with all of the AI jank, it still looked better to me. The generations got worse and worse the more he tried to touch it up. 😭
Since AI steals and mashes millions of better artists' compositions, gestures, and poses, it totally makes sense that his starting input with all that incorporated made the final input worse than pure AI theft 😞
If he said, "I don't have good artistic skills, I haven't took the time to improve my drawing and painting skills because I find drawing boring, but I use this AI tool as a crutch and that enables me to at least create something," I would have no problem with it. But he keeps insisting that what he is doing is comparable to what professional artists are doing and that he has an artistic eye on a professional level, which I'm sorry, but based on his drawings that he has shown, that is just delusional.
This. I have a deep appreciation for people who are very strong about not wanting to do things. People who are honest about their abilities I could easily forgive. This guy just openly lies to himself, so boldly, in a 30 minute long video, lol
@@friendlyneighborhoodartist I genuinely tried learning to draw and paint, but on't seem to have basic talent. Was intrigued about promptin at first but don't want to do it even for my personal use because I don't think it's ethical. Will stick to photo-editing which I know how to do.
@@Trlababalane the struggle never stops. Even for very accomplished artist. You Just learn at some point to Accept it. I had people Tell me abot some of my Art that it looks really amaizing. But other times stuff Looks like you never picked Up a pencil in your live. Your not allone here.
I'm glad You started with shrinking the head. In the original video Shad kept repeating something like "only people with good artistic eye will catch what should be fixed here". I was like: "the head is too big", "the head is too big", "the hea... and then he decided to shrink the shoulders making the head appear even bigger 🤣
If anything, the shoulders were actually relatively okay if you wanted her to have a slightly broader build, cos you know, women can be broad shouldered too, but nah gotta make her body as tiny as possible I guess...???
that was me. i was like.. well obviously the head is way too big. then it's like.. shoulders smaller. well okay. she's slightly in perspective so the shoulders can be a little wider but fine, tone them down if you want... now can we get back to the head?
We writers don't wanna claim him either. His book is "objectively bad" as he himself likes to put it and is mainly about a guy getting rewarded with Mary Sue powers and plot armour for assaulting children in the past. It is terrible. So please, don't send him to us. He belongs in the r/niceguys. He'd fit right in there.
The funny thing to me, is how NONE of these ai bros can begin to see what's wrong with the art. It'll be the most basic and fundamental things too. That and (I do feel guilty for this) when he keeps saying "my art is literally professional quality" and his brother just gives him a look...and you can tell he's trying not to laugh. That gives me that good gut laugh every time.
There is simply a reason why it takes literaly years(!) of practise on the fundamentals to become a real professional in what you do. A lot of people have the potential for it. But not everyone will master their potential as it takes hours of learning, repeating, gaining knowledge and also honing your skills. It's like using a chess computer as "help" to win against a chess master and claiming that you are just as good as the guy that has spend years of dedicating his life to playing chess. This is what really disturbs me with some "Tech Bros" out there which claim that they have created something with great skill when they create something in minutes that takes years of practise to actually achieve without Ai.
As a professional artist, it is hillarious that he even wrote this sentence unironically. "The level of artistry needed, technical knowledge required, and amount required of work involved I think is going to shock people" I watched the whole video and the only thing shocking was his ego.
So, I'm a writer, not an artist, so when I initially saw this video I remember being impressed initially by the Supergirl image, because I don't really have a discerning artistic eye... That said, the longer I looked at it, the weirder I felt. Like, I could tell that things were just... 'wrong'. Like, I was staring at her head and thinking... is it too big? Is it in the wrong place relative to her neck? When he made the comment about 'anatomical knowledge' and fixed her shoulders, I remember thinking... no, that's not it... something about her head and face... So, when I saw you make her head smaller in literally the first fifteenish seconds of the video I burst out laughing because it instantly started looking better and it became insanely obvious what I was actually weirded out by. Anyways, I'm bringing this up because I wrote a mini-essay in response to this video about how short-sighted he, and all the pro-ai people, are being. The focus wasn't really about what you were talking about in this video, in fact I even prefaced my essay by saying I was just going to grant literally everything he said. The Essay was about child psych and how it screams that generative AI is going to absolutely WRECK young artists in the future in terms of their motivation to actually learn how to draw or write... It's gonna be rough unless we have some big societal support for learning these talents despite generative AI existing. But yeah, because I was focusing so hard on that, I didn't really get to think about how bad the actual art in his video was (more than one sun, everything he did was basic photoshop, etc). So, just wanted to say thanks for covering this, it was really entertaining.
Big head is artistic style. In anime and manga, having big head compared to body is a commont artistic style and he is doing that. So that proves that he actually uses ai well, it blends realism with stylized body proportions.
Don't sell your self short man. Writers are artists too. Just not visual artists. There have been people out there which comitted suicide(!) because of the storys they red from writers like Goethe. If they have such an impact on people, than they are artists in my book - pun not intended.
@@markoliimatainen2565 I don't think that's the case here. The image it self is way to much leaning on the side of realism than stylisation to allow for this kind of anatomical errors. And even if we say, ok that's his "style" it still doesn't mean that it's not an error. Like when people looked at Leefields comic art where he would completely exagerate certain proportions which was the way how he has done it there was still a fair criticism about it. The image above does not even remotely look "anime" to me, to fall in that category where I could say, ok it doesn't matter if the head is bigger than it should be.
I'm one of those artists that are in the middle: I see potential in AI to help speed up the art process, just I think users such as Shad are pretty inconsiderate of what everyday artists go through. AI artists claim to be professional artists, which in itself already seems pretty inconsiderate because that makes regular artists' efforts feel ignored. The other thing Shad doesn't own up to it, he always tries counter arguing that artists' frustration towards this is invalid.
Well, that's why we can't call them artists. They aren't using it as a tool to help them complete or get inspiration but letting it do 100% of the work and using 'styles of'. I don't think ANYONE would have cared until he started being so snarky and disrespectful while being a total clown, lol.
Same here. I think it could be useful as a tool but people like shad just use it as a shortcut for any actual effort on their part, and then have the audacity to proclaim their ai generations are a result of their own virtuosity. He goes on and on in his video about how hes using his "artistic eye" as though that somehow qualifies him as an artist by default. It would be like saying you are a photographer because you know what shutter speed means.
I really don't want to be mean, but Shad in his AI Arc really reminds me of 18 y.o. total beginner myself from 2016 who traced a model's photo, added some colors to it, discovered multiply mode and its enormous power... then got mad at someone on 9gag who told me to become a better artist first and only post then. I even told them the good old "make something better, I challenge you!" thingy.. and maybe after this video's release but Shad literally made a post like "okay, I challenge anyone to make this exact artwork with this exact pose with just prompts and no editing! It's not as easy, is it???" Sorry, Shad! You're not using AI, instead AI companies are using you as a useful idiot to promote them. They get hype and your undying loyalty, you get the carnival ride experience of being an artist. At least as mean as it sounds I'm happy that one of the big defenders of AI is turning into a seasoned lolcow at this point. And others.. like the person who I saw on reddit who appears in comment sections saying that "Not all AI images look the same! Do these images look the same to you???" then leaves 10 links to AI images that look the same, they only have a different subject matter, but they all have the super ugly AI style with nonsensical elements and boring compositions... you know, the things that can't be solved by just adding a billion extra photos and writing twice as long prompts.
OH, I SAW that challenge and no one did it because no one wanted to give him the satisfaction, lol. He's just a weirdo, I don't know why anyone would listen to Shad on any topic other than his only swords and stuff, lol. He's just kind of weird.
@@friendlyneighborhoodartist He also had some rather misogynist and anti-lgbtq+ takes too, also he just used some really derogatory speech against some people who knew less than him about a subject in some reaction videos to historical themed stuff. He really has some "I know everything and you're just a bunch of peasants!" energy. I stopped watching him years ago, but he keeps haunting me. :_D
@@vksasdgaming9472 Hm, I can imagine. I'm also not that well into any of the topics he talked about so I can imagine his knowledge is more wide than deep, definitely enough to impress most people, but based on what I saw from him the last few occasions I can imagine it doesn't go much further than that for most things.
"go back to writing which is something he's good at" I will stop you there and say that Shad is a TERRIBLE writer. His book is about as bloated and egotistical as he is with art. He's really big on giving big descriptions about his world and world building which end up feeling self congratulatory and his dialog is completely amateurish. And that's not even going into how down right creepy and wrong the story line is. Basically the main character, to put it bluntly, is if stalin had super powers and...other urges that don't bare speaking of. But you know, Shad seems to think that we should feel sorry for this character because "if you really think about it HE'S the real victim" And stupid stuff like this is a dime a dozen on the internet. What gets me is that he is a Christian and goes on about good Christian values all while ignoring them himself and actively partaking in the evil he says he's against with his sinful writing material. I admired him for a long time but his book and his stance on ai art really eroded my image of him and I really didn't like the kind of guy he's turned into.
I’m never going to read the book. Was it a villain protagonist who was just poorly written? Because that’s one thing. Or was the audience supposed to like and root for Mr. Child rapist mass murderer?
Yeah, I still like his historical videos and stuff about movies and books, since thats his area of expertise but this AI era of shad is just aggravating. Its like watching someone blindly defending a tv show they watch no matter how much you point out the flaws because they can't admit they're watching a bad tv show( kind of ironic since thats normally the kind of people he would call out). Im just curious what his brother Jazza thinks of all this being a huge art channel and all.
@@friendlyneighborhoodartist i may be wrong, but i sense some friction between jaz and shad these days. shad has shown more of his ugly, bigoted side over recent years, maybe it has something to do with that.
Shad is the type of person who has a very high opinion of himself and believes he’s amazing at everything. He admitted that he doesn’t enjoy drawing and I strongly suspect that what actually happened is that he wanted to be able to make amazing art, just like his brother, but it got hard and so he quit. He doesn’t enjoy things that take time and effort to get good at, so he looks for an easy way out. Then AI came along and answered all his prays. He is so delusional and narcissistic, I truly believe he thinks he’s as good as any professional artist and the trouble is he’s too full of himself to listen to criticism of his “work” or see his own shortcomings. I would almost feel sorry for him if he wasn’t such an insufferable prat about it.
@@friendlyneighborhoodartistif it was easy it would be abundant and less valuable, something these AI apologists are going to learn once the amount of AI generated images reaches critical mass. “Oh look, another realistically rendered Asian girl with impossibly large breasts in the same pose, with the same expressionless face on my Pinterest. Gee I sure am glad our corporate overloads finally ‘democratized’ art and saved us from the tyranny of those hardworking artists.”
If you didn't know, Shad is Jazza's brother. Yes that Jazza. The way he treats Jazza and Jazza's art by claiming that using ai makes him better than Jazza is super cringe. I wouldn't be surprised if he used AI to write his book either.
I love that my first thought about his image is that her head was way too big, then that was the first thing you fixed. I'm not as bothered by the two suns, though. In movie making, non-diegetic light sources are often added - in fact, it's more rare to use "correct" unaltered ambient lighting! In this case, having the entire subject in shadow obscures the detail. IMO, a better solution would be to photoshop out the sun in the background instead.
I appreciate that you made this! I especially like how you kept calling him baby boy for all his edits that he kept feeding back into the AI, as well as offered better alternatives like generating a picture and then heavily editing it from there. That's like a way better use of the tool than what Shad is doing, especially when he's so high and mighty about it being his work.
Oh how lovely, all the ai degens that can't draw dislike this video. Interessting. REALLY INTERESSTING. They act like liars when caught, they act like narcisstic people when being confronted with the truth. It's just that, the truth. You ai degens will never be able to draw and experience the creative process. The love for art. The true love of CREATION. I'm sorry.
They weird part is a lot of aibros can draw they just never liked doing it and a part of me thinks a lot of them aren't good at it. Some people I've seen are good but choose to do it because they see nothing wrong with it. I dint understand that but yeah, many aibros are scammers.
His brother is on of the most well-appreciated artists on RUclips. And he can't draw anything remotely that good to save his life (but that doesn't prevent him from claiming that he can draw... He can, but on the level between "just learned to use brushes in Photoshop" and "good enough to draw OC commissions for furries". And he can bombard you (but more importantly, he can persuade himself) with hours upon hours of mental gymnastics to justify what he does and how it's not plagiarism since it's not against the law (read his Twitter). So there's really not much to it. He doesn't have any talent, he's jealous of his brother, but instead of trying to get good, he cuts corners and tries to make ai art into a thing. Reminds me of the plot from the Gladiator, him being the Commodus This is what a homie uses social media instead of going to therapy, man this dude need to get his personal issues straight.
Shad is the kind of person who does a little research and thinks he's an expert. He likes swords, but he doesn't actually fence. Thats fine. But he'll argue with practiced HEMA experts. He'll just make stuff up that seems cool in his head. He is a writer, sure, in that he wrote a book. But he's a bad writer who will never advance his craft because he thinks he's a natural prodigy. The main character in his book is a (I am not kidding) a mass-murdering serial sex offending tyrant, who gets shoehorned into a redeption arc by killing people who are less bad than him and everyone kinda just forgives him. Shad does not execute it well at any level.
Thank you for calling out him using his wife's face in all his "art". There's so much cringe going on here that this seems to go under everyone's radar but this seems particularly creepy to me. I presume she gave him consent (why?!) but even so, it feels creepy and weird.
There is no truth in flesh, only betrayal. There is no strength in flesh, only weakness. There is no constancy in flesh, only decay. There is no certainty in flesh but death.
part of the motto from Addeptus Mechanicus. Faction from Warhammer 40k. Heavy technophile priests. Who believe machine spirit makes machines to work. That weirdly fits in this subject about Ai art.
As a consumer only, it's disappointing to hear that so many artists are interested in AI but finding it problematic or ineffective. I learned a long time ago that that there's a huge difference between a person that can draw and an artist. I was a person that could draw. Similarly, AI is a tool that can draw but it won't really be groundbreaking until it's in the hands of an artist. I have so many artists that I love with original characters with their own stories that I always wanted to see more of but it's simply an overwhelming amount of work for an artist especially at the level of detail that would do it justice. I was excited at the prospect of actual artists being able to use AI as a tool to expand their content without sacrificing their entire lives or potentially corrupting their vision by having to include other artists or simplifying. I'm not sure what are the problems you were referring to that artists are finding, but it's disappointing either way. Hopefully, it advances in a positive way to where artists can truly take advantage of it all to the benefit of me, the consumer.
The part that always gets me is the amount of times he says it looks perfect and how anyone with an "artistic eye" would agree, meanwhile there are so many things wrong between the proportions, there being two suns apparently, and how he still gave her "football player shoulders" which was something he said he fixed but made worse.
Hmmm… I will admit that I recently did some experiments in Stable Diffusion, and it inspired me to conjure up a plan to program my own coded algorithm and dataset based on photography that only I take to avoid any stealing or copyright (or free-to-use online stocks work as well). That alone honestly fits my needs pretty good anyways, as the only real art I absolutely love the most is photo/hyper/ultra-realism, because it just depicts reality as how it is so vividly. As to why? Probably because I’m a man who loves the sciences and therefore must be as objective as possible, and you can’t really get more objective than reality. Now, I gotta say, as a STEMey guy rather than an artsy guy who would want to make profit by doing to math, science, engineering design, and coding rather than by stroking a tool over and over to make something beautiful, it makes me think of the clash between the fields of fine arts and STEM. Like, are the computer scientists and programmers who made these AIs the true artists? Are the prompters just helpers? Can code really be art? What about non-AI but generative art that’s coded? I once coded a fractal generator and a 3D steam locomotive in Scratch and Java script respectively, so… Man, this is a really interesting philosophical discussion. I just hope, from a STEM person to a fine arts person, that this whole AI debacle can turn into an opportunity not for our respective fields to compete, but to collaborate. Now, wouldn’t that be nice?
I actually am also a person who is STEM. I experimented with SD and MJ before I knew that it works on the backs of artists without consent, permission, or compensation. I don't think that this type of ML is artistic as it is parasitic in nature. Prompters are only commissioners to the machine as the machine does all the work. That's not to say that the people who created it aren't amazing, I would hesitate to call anything purely automated to be a work of art. I think the only way these two things can be married in a productive way is if the users can agree that it is theft. To the artist mind, their work is their identity, but to a techie its just data on a computer. Art is subjective, but ultimately, a human must have had a direct tool to person input. An automated generator is not art because the machine has done all the work. When it comes to code as art, I'd say the only code that is art is code that has been shaped into something. Quite literally, a Pikachu, made by lines of code. Ultimately, art is a human expression and I would say that your 3D train is your labor of love. I can only hope over time that these companies can see what they are doing is wrong.
the emergence of tech bros on the internet trying to pose as artists is the single worst thing i've seen in a while, and i've seen the cat on a blender video not long ago.
"I’m a digital artist" - Shad Me when I tell the truth to Shad that he’s the real customer because he asked a commission for his supergirl waifu to an A.I generated (real artist robot) for free be like : Mind blowing brain moment argument moment🤯 He’s an artist but he’s not a good artist enough for saying nonsense about A.I generated art, people can be delusional sometimes and this kind of behavior harming more jobs to be creative nowadays, sadly. We’re completely f-ed'.
Here's the only thing you need to know about Shad's untepentant simping for Automaton Imitation image generation: His younger brother is Josiah Brooks, aka famous RUclips artist, Jazza.
i honestly have no issues with people using AI.... i just wish they were honest about it. Like they think they've drank some wisdom potion from the heavens to make AI art and then THIS is what they have to show for it like cmon lmao
The head he uses on all his “art” of women is also an ai version of his wife. Which I find creepy. Who would ai-ify their wifes face and smush it on these uber sexualized bodies?
"He should stick to writing" No. Just no. He wrote a book about a dictator, murderer and rapist, who gets blessed with youth and ultimate power, and is "redeemed" over the course of the story by way of being told by everyone that he has light inside of him and is a good person deep down, even though he does nothing to prove that. In the end he is "punished" by basically becoming a cop, allowing him to dole out judgement and violence for the rest of his life. Plus, Shad is a homophobe.
I had no idea who this dude was until a video about this whole thing popped up in my feed, which considering I'm an illustrator is RUclips's algorithm working properly for once. But I watched his video, and it was 40 minutes of masturbatory mental gymnastics. That aside, I've seen some of Shad's non AI efforts, and they're rather rudimentary and crude, and normally I wouldn't tear someone down about their artwork if they're making a concerted effort to improve, but he prides himself as an expert in anatomy and proportion, which his drawings were completely lacking. I've also learned that this guy's brother is a youtube artist of some fame, which combined with his own artistic creations, leads me to believe there's a massive inferiority complex that's been brewing in Shad for quite some time. AI simply let him fill the gap between his lack of skill, patience, and integrity...however, even then it falls short because like a lot of AI creations, his looks like cobbled together uncanny valley trash. The guy is just completely without humility or introspection; he's doubled down on his stance and his delusion has him convinced that he's now a masterful artist.
He's okay, he could have been better but it's clear he grinded for a while but probably had not truly drawn in 10 years. I can tell, he has some very archaic looking art that seems like it's from 2009/2010s. If he really had been working all this time, it would be different.
He also thinks his novel is well written and doesn't see any "major" problems with it. If I was a beta reader, I would have told him that making a redemption story of a sadistic r*pist that is also a power fantasy is a bad idea... But of course his book can't be trash, it has 4.2 stars out off 5 on Amazon! "That's what people really think of [his] novel."
Haha, Shad thinks his art is looking really great, and doesn't even notice the girl's head is too big! And I can totally relate... I've played around with Stable Diffusion a lot, and you tend to become blind to even quite obvious flaws, just because you're hyper-focusing on trying to persuade the AI to do what you want it to do, damnit! It's such a struggle to "direct" the AI that you proudly beat your little chest when you finally get a "good" result (where "good" = "not totally fucked up, and *almost* correct hands too!"). I remember painstakingly creating a photographic style picture of a little black girl in a pretty dress standing outside of a small house. I was super happy with the result, and showed it off to my wife. Her first comment was "why does she have a ginormous forehead?" Ehrm... I didn't notice that. When she pointed it out it was super obvious, but I had been working so hard on getting other things right I didn't notice her forehead was ballooning to the size of a football. Then I quickly noticed the AI model I was using had this flaw built in, and it was literally impossible to create a black girl with a normal head with it. It was quite a struggle to make anything other than Asian girls with this model, so I felt sweet victory when I coerced it to create a black girl at all! That's where the strange misplaced pride of AI bros comes from: It's the pride of defeating the machine in some respect only a fellow AI bro will appreciate. AI "art" is a lot of FUN to play around with, but it's also really shitty. For the time being at least.
I think a lot of people use it this way. It takes a little bit to really get it to do something that you become hyper focused. It does happen with artists too but with art, you can flip the canvas or start backtracking fundamentals to see what's wrong. I think that's the issue because a lot of people are unskilled playing with it and it takes a minute to get an image. I get it, that's why I think I preferred it as a more a suggestive mess than a cohesive mess
@@friendlyneighborhoodartist Exactly. A suggestive mess can be inspiring, and makes you "see" something that isn't really there, it's like seeing a rabbit in the clouds. Whereas a cohesive mess is just boring and hurts your brain. Unfortunately, most AI art people post is of the latter variety. Thanks for replying, and have a good day/evening/whatever your time zone dictates!
This comparison of "my ai art 6 months ago vs. Now" is so weird. Why does the new one have 3 inconsistent light sources, while the old one has one kinda consistent light source? Is this that "artistic eye" he has?
The thing is that with AI art, only someone with a real eye can notice all the things wrong with it. There are so many thing wrong with it like why was the skirt showing her ass? That's so weird lol
My problem with AI-"Art": It leeches of actual artists by learning from them without consent. It takes the effort and abilities of these people to then compete in the same market therefor friggin ´em over twice. And before someone asks how this is different from automation: Automatation optimizes processes. Yes, it replaces the worker but it is about effectiveness while art is about expression. Automatation will not diminish effectiveness but AI-"art" will become incestous over time as it has the ability to drive away people fro persuing creative careers thus depriving itself from the input it needs. Regarding calling oneself AI-Artist: Would anyone else than someone suffering from delusion call themself an artist because they comission art and are so good at frigging speaking that they can tell the artist what they want? Because that is what Shad does, he comissions an algorithm and by proxy the unpaid artists the algorithm learned from.
It is the amount of delusion that Shad appears to be under that I find surprising. What he is doing is more in line with an art director than an artist. It doesn't seem to be any different than giving a prompt to someone and have them draw it. Take that drawing and make edits and attach notes and return it to the person and ask them to draw that first picture with the changes you want. Those that would misrepresent the AI as either their own skill or work are either dishonest or (in Shad's case) delusional. I do hope for the best for the future of AI art but I do expect the worst for the near future.
If Shad wanted to be known as some great user of AI then he should be causing the models to create something or behave in a way that normally would not be possible given the restrictions the models are built on. Something novel and creative that could stand out and considered amazing.
I've written as a hobby for the last 5 years. I posted all 5 of my novels online for free, and they've been read by a good few thousand people. I've never made a cent off them. For my most recent novel, I used AI image generators to make the cover art, and it's leagues better than the stock images I used before. Does this kind of noncommercial use upset artists too? (Since text is my medium, I've asked that question about ChatGPT, but it's not the same, because we're not yet seeing the same flood of AI books.)
Yes, because these jobs are usually used by artists. It also brings into question whether or not AI was used on the inside too. I make book covers for authors myself.
What do you think about the situation when, for example, someone cannot afford a cover and there are 2 options: 1. There will be no cover, so no artist will earn money 2. The cover will be made by AI and the artist will not make any money either We assume that the AI that was used is based on a database with appropriate rights. I have no opinion here, I'm curious how artists approach such a situation.@@friendlyneighborhoodartist
@@Zmienny 1. If you are writing and decide to use AI, then you've cheapened your work by not saving up your money. You are going to have to hire a editor to check your work, aren't you? I am saving up for my own work to be done, I'm not even going my own cover -- I want it to be done right. I've seen what Indie Authors with no experience do: They make a bad cover, no it'll be a bad AI cover.
@@friendlyneighborhoodartist Thanks for replying. Just adding for some clarity to my original post - I'm posting all my writing to a free amateur fiction site - Wattpad. I'm not hiring an editor. I'm not selling on Kindle.
If it weren't for the "stealing" and "ruining the job market for artists" thing I'd really love ai tools that can let me make a mediocre picture of a character I have in my head without having to spend years gaining skills.
The interesting thing here is that AI image generation is here to stay; that genie isn't getting back in the bottle. So artists are going to have to find a way to cope with this new situation. Not really sure how that's going to work out, because I imagine we're going to see AI pix bite into the market for incidental or background art, which is going to be rough on commercial artists.
Same for me under following premises: 1. No AI-learning from artists who don´t consent 2. Artists involved in the learning process get a fair share. 3. No commercial use of the created images. 4. No distribution of the created images in any form (preventing incestous AI-learning and discouraging people) 5. Most important: If you can afford it, pay an artist. Just to clarify, I know these premises can probably not be enforced in any way as it probably will always be explotative but it is merely a list of premises under which I would think about using it.
I stopped drawing and painting and painting for many reasons. I´m slowlt coming back to paint thanks to miatures, and will resume drawing soon, and I was thinking f using AI to help to help me draw better.... This was not what I was thinking. Shad just came out as an AI bro, and IMO the worst part is that he had the BALLS to go against Jazza, talented artist and HIS BROTHER, claiming he' a better artist because of his AI ""art""
He tries to be clown. Clowns are funny and should do comedic performances. Stephen Glover is clown and formally trained one despite performing out of costume. Shad Brooks is not a clown as he ain't funny and does not perform comedic stuff.
He could be a professional painter like his brother Jazza, but I don't know why he just don't learn from him. He would probably do a lot better with art then.
Honestly I really liked your approach here to limit the light source to the sun in the background, it gives the character a really interesting silhouette and creates a cool contrast. I would give a bit of a lightsource to the face and the S shape on the chest still, even if it's not realistic, just to highlight it a bit (could be a reflection off a building or plane or smth, but then again, who the fuck cares haha) But visually I found your redraw much more interesting and eyecatching. - Because it also immediately visually tells more of a story with a character we usually do associate with heroism, light, bright colors etc. being framed as this dark silhouette.
hes actually the brother of Jazza (an actual artist). Theres a video of him trying to force Jazza to call him an artist and eventually he does just to shut him up and then he starts pushing him about it not being genuine lol
I hate Vito but Vito nailed it on the head when he brought up Shad on The Biggest Problem. Shad is part of a community on RUclips that only respects people's artistic works because of their political beliefs and not because of the art itself. They're all talentless hacks
@@friendlyneighborhoodartistHe was sculptor who got lots of prestige from Nazis. Public works and all that. He was not hack bootlicker who got those commissions through political connections. His skill was real and his style meshed well with Nazis. He did work after WW2 so he was real artist. Shad Brooks is more like bootlicker who schemed himself to prestigious jobs.
Shad is turning into a clown everytime he compares his old art with ai art and the ai art looks way worse than his old art. How does he keep taking L's online is beyond me
Dude out here acting like 2 hours is a ton of work while i'm out here (and most other artists) spending up to or more than a month on a single image, and still not wanting to release it because there are still things that are wrong with it.
I know right, lol. I checked his art videos from 8 years ago and this guy used a ruler for his artwork. It doesn't even seem like the same person. I spent 65 hours on a piece that was for my mother, so I could turn it into a puzzle for her.
Him saying with emphasis that those 2 lines he did was SIGNIFICANT humam input made me laugh. Especially when he put it back through the AI which changed a lot of the image from what it was.
I am sorry about that part. Shad is a critic of the media in a part of the " No Matter how cool it looks. It is shit if it does not look realistic" type of deal. So what you say proves a point that he is a BS artist. If it is a movie, or somebody else work, it would be. "Nah, rule of cool is stupid and don't apply." specially with fantasy armors and weapons in general."
That poor supergirl finally as got peace🤩. ill using ai to but i am not an "artist" at all( i have draw some stuff when i was young but i never take the artist road, but i hate to use hype-realism stuff cause of stuff like that happen and are really atrocious to see. i prefer to stay in a low level stuff like splash color/pastel than bragging like that clown have do that guy. I think of AI to a way to learn instead of a way to abuse or brag, more i use AI more i try to learn a better use of Photoshop to try to correct all the abomination that damn Pandora's box of mixer cook up every single render 🤣btw that clown is a disaster at prompting too ( the insane amount of prompt as put in it cloned to and misspelled -.- is disgusting)probably have never heard the word Dynamic lighting and shadows in is life.
@friendlyneighborhoodartist yeah that's the problem some now are labeled like all the other "AI artist" -.- . There is some like me, but probably as me are just humble person who just try to survive in this insane world of madness 😂 Just for an example i stop using background with ai ( except for graffiti who is my main love stile) to avoid create gazillion of random light source, and i prefer a minimalist white or black background or blank ( it's not fix the light problem is just a random collage of stuff and sometimes literally a collage on hand in particular, but help learn how light source work xD )
@DragoKhan83 I also don't think we should be calling them ai artists. It Invalidates the word artist as anything, it needs its own word. I'm happy with GAI creator or AI content.
@@friendlyneighborhoodartist true as point i have removed every single tag who use art in it associated with AI. Is just better label it aiimages or illustration or just simply ai.
One of the infinite things that get me about this, is the initial generation is entirely random. Sure, it's Supergirl, but the pose, the lighting, the setting, everything, was random. He just saw one of many images that he liked. Then, all he did was gradually reduce the randomness setting over and over and over again until he got something he liked. And it still looked like garbage. AI "art" is like listening to Spotify smart shuffle, and claiming you made the music, because the songs it suggests are based on the ones you listen to. The whole thing is utterly absurd, and while these people are desperately trying to fool the world that they actually have talent, it's costing the jobs of real artists all over the world, who spent years honing their craft and are now struggling to find work. Brilliant video. Not only did i enjoy the commentary, but you showed how much of a difference a real artist could make to Shad's, ummmm, creation? His uncanny valley dream wife? Honestly, I don't even know
Thanks so much. Real artists make AI a tool and unkilled people are just playing with a toy at the most basic level. I mean, my effort was not super bad buy lol
You said something along the lines that you would have liked him if he had left it at the videos on historical topics, such as weapons and castles. I fully agree with that, but one of the things he would have also been better off leaving out is his second channel ‘Knight's Watch’, where he reviews films and series with like-minded people. You don't seem to have found it yet and that's a good thing! He's so ‘anti-woke’, catty, LGBTQ+-phobic and whatnot! His book is also a disaster, where he tells a redemption story about a rapist like no other! What the hell? The way he portrays women in this book is also repulsive! But back to his film reviews: as soon as there is a strong female character, an LGBTQ+ character, or a person of a skin colour other than white in a European-medieval fantasy film or series, for example, he can hardly stand it and only sees the ‘message’ and propaganda in it. He is very conservative, which certainly has to do with his Mormon upbringing and affiliation. His brother Josiah Brooks (also known as Jazza), on the other hand, distances himself from Shad's views. You will probably know Jazza, as he is a much-appreciated artist who does all sorts of things, but mainly drawing and uploading videos about it to RUclips. I guess Shad is just jealous of his little brother who can just do so much and has skills in multiple art disciplines and so desperately wants to be seen as a true artist with his AI art, I mean junk of course. There's even a video where you can see Shad forcing Josiah to recognise him as an artist! There's so much wrong with Shad's personality that it hurts! I felt so bad for Jazza watching him because you could see how much he had to do something that was against his values! I could go into more detail and write more stuff about Shad here, but the rabbit hole is too deep and he's not worth my time.
Seems like the heart of the issue is that Shad is calling himself an artist for his AI-art efforts, and this understandably hits actual artists in the amour-propre. To my mind, what he's doing is more like data mining or search engine optimization; it's not an inherently bad thing to do, and if he's getting the pictures he wants, that's fine. However, even to my can't-draw-but-wish-I-could sensibilities, the ability to create an image starting with a blank page or screen is an entirely different affair.
@@friendlyneighborhoodartist Yeah, that's a bridge too far. I think Brooks is not really looking at the impact of this new technology on people who have spent countless hours learning and practicing. Nor is he considering that it's hard to come up with something truly novel via AI. All in all, he oversold what could have been a tenable position ("hey, this makes it easy for me to generate certain kinds of pictures, cool!") and turned it into a bruising argument.
@@hoi-polloi1863 Well, I think he did it to get more views on him. He's not even discussing AI anymore, he literally paid someone recently to do art on his book. He's prolly still using it but he's not showing it anymore. He learned his lesson or he grew bored oit.
@@friendlyneighborhoodartist Mild deutan, I’m just wondering am I too old to learn or too far gone? Or do I just need to practice and learn the basics and work my way up?
@orca1361 well, my friend has severe version of your specific one. Basically, he works in colors that he knows for his work or he works in greyscale because it's way easier for him. Also, it's never too late, you just have to start. Do you use discord?
I used to draw, then 3D modeling, then photography, macro, portrait, landscape, nigh photography, light painting, astro photo….. then AI appeared and what I thought was well, you aren’t doing it , then I tried one day, and yeah, your aren’t doing it and I feel emptiness, I just write a prompt and the machine maybe does something like what I want. No skill, no nothing, but you can always fool yourself thinking you are a prompt engineer.
Thank you very much for this video. I've been following Shadiversity's channel for some time (I have not read his book) and in general my impression is that he is a person of integrity. However, what he is doing here is embarrassing and cringe (for brevity's sake). I'm a hobby photographer and I do like to play around with my images in Photoshop. Am I more proficient than the average person?, sure, Am I an artist? Well, that's neither here nor there. It's up to the eye of the beholder to decide that. The puritan in me tells me that manipulating in Photoshop is just fun and games, but it is fun!. I've tried and keep trying the new AI tools that are introduced in PS, arguably any downloaded preset is "AI", but I find it more interesting to play around with the basic PS tools, I'm learning, and I am well aware of lacking the base knowledge of composition, lighting, colouring, etc. . To claim otherwise would be an insult to those of you who have been studying and creating art for a lifetime. Does that mean I should stop my amateur venture? No, but I should be humble about it. That said, from a purely cold and calculated commercial perspective, Shadiveristy has some important points that artists should take note of. The advent of AI will, just as digital photography, challenge the traditional arts. The "sad" thing is, unless we are particularly interested , most of the time, we will go for good enough, it's the 80% rule. Personally, I don't find this rule very satisfying, "good enough" is mediocrity. But in commerce mediocrity is often all you need to generate a profit. I believe AI do pose a challenge to all of you truly artistic and creative people. From a metaphysical point of view it poses a challenge to us all. So yeah, Shadiversity's venture is cringe, but to write it off as just that, I believe, would be foolish. Sorry for this ramble, I've had few but I hope you'all have been able to find some meaning in it.
Naw, you are good to ramble! Shad is pretty embarrassing and his outward aggressiveness is why he got so much attention. His book is something left to be desired, unfortunately. When it comes to AI tools in adobe, I think they'll be way better once they've gotten it down the feature is more for doing silly shit than actually helping atm. I can make random people bald for the lulz or randomly put a tree, it's not very useful imho, I think in 6-7 years it'll be way better.
He says he has an artistic eye, an eye for anatomy and proportion like it's something amazing only he knows and everybody else is beneath him, while any other actual artist rolls their eyes and keeps studying art fundamentals because it's not that fucking deep.
Hey, your video came up in my recommended list because I've been watching a lot of videos on the topic of AI today, and yeah... I'll have to agree with you that Shad is a clown. lol! His brother is an artist, he goes by 'Jazza' here on RUclips. I saw another video earlier today that was also dunking on Shad, and they showed a video clip of a conversation between him and his brother Jazza, and Shad said "My artwork is easily at the professional level." Jazza looked soooo uncomfortable in that moment, lol! You could just feel that he wanted to disagree, but he was trying to find a way to be 'diplomatic' about it. Oh, and apparently Shad also thinks it's harder to learn how to use AI than it is to learn how to use 3D software. As someone who is currently learning 3D modeling and sculpting in Blender, I'd have to emphatically disagree! Oh, one last thing... The video I watched earlier also described the plot of Shad's book and... Wom... just, wow... I have no words... It's called 'Shadow of the Conquorer' and it is basically a power fantasy about a guy who was a brutal conquor, but changed his ways at some point. I don't want to describe what exactly this character did (people can Google that if they wat) but basically, sometime after changing his ways he met one of his victims who said "Hey, years ago, you did X, Y, Z to me, my family and my village, and I am still traumatized..." Then, the hero of the story was like "Yeah, well, I'm a better person now, and that should be good enough for you, and if it's not, that's a 'you' problem." I just thought I'd put that out there.
Oh my God, yes! Shad is cringe, that video where he's talking to his brother is so embarrassing. 😳 I also watched a video summarizing the plot of his book, pretty fucked up lol
Brooks insists he is professional but I doubt anyone would want to use these images commercialy. Tje best thing he can do is to learn anatomy basics before manipulating what he doesn't fully understand.
his writikg is attrocious. Not even writers want to claim this guy. His novel a power fantasy about a superhot dude with "face of a 17 y/o and body of a 30 y/o", with god-like macic who is a resurrrected mass murderer and rapist, but is really goodest good guy in history of universe. He sometimes feels sad about SA-ing children, and now only kills bad guys.
I swear, does anyone even realize that 30 yr old men are way hotter than 17 yr old boys? 99% of 17 yr old boys look like fucking children, completely unattractive unless you are also 17 and look like a child lol
@@friendlyneighborhoodartistMen don't realize this, no. By the time boys are 15, they already think girls their age look like angels. They don't realize woman are different and usually go for maturity over "youthful boy beauty." I know this because I am male, and my mind was blown when I figured this out.
This is equivalent to putting on an oculus and thinking you can fly. No it's worse. You can't practice flying, so it will always be a fantasy. Let the toddlers play with their toys. The way we've got Ai set-up is unsustainable on so many levels. Imagine a future where Ai continues to sample itself based on what it draws from the internet and just gets more and more samey.
The big head makes me so uncomfortable lol! Lighting Incan give a pass because I do a lot of “unrealistic” lighting for the purpose of the image/style/story, but that BIG of an anatomical error, after boasting about their perfect art for so long is just embarrassing
I could literally give a pass as long as he didn't say he was both a perfectionist and 'it's not that big a deal' in the same sentence. Which is it? You don't care or you care too much.
@@friendlyneighborhoodartist I don't really like his art style in my opinion it kind of looks ugly to me, but I'm not really into that cartoony style that he has. It's subjective you either. @@williammclean6594 Have you ever watched any of his videos? Cartoony or not, he has a great understanding of everything like anatomy, dynamics, expression, etc. On top of that, he makes all this phyical sculptures that are amazing in their own right. Saying he has no talent when his entire channel is his talent shows me you've never watched him create his dioramas from scratch or anything. It's fine but he is not subjectively good, he's objectively good and you don't like his work.
@@friendlyneighborhoodartist I have watched his videos. His earlier stuff looked like those Christopher hart how to draw books. Not that great. His art has improved a lot since then but I just don't like his style. I'm not saying he's not an artist. I just don't like his style. And it's not just me. I've talked to a lot of people and a lot People say that he's just an all right artist. For the amount of time he's been doing it he probably could be way better like TB choi or Ross draws have been doing it for the same amount of time.
Just wanna say I'm real happy people are pushing against AI generated "art", it has its uses but we need to heavily regulate the monetization of it. Also your photoshop editing tag has an extra "t".
I pretty much agree with all the contents of the video. But you should have fixed the proportions of the AI image more before doing a draw-over. Since it still wasn't completely proportional.
Yeah, I'm not a painter nor a heavy photo editor. I thought I'd try to fix it the best I could. Lol. I did the draw over to see what needed fixing also.
I've done more "significant human input" with making some quick face swap edits for faceclaims in the past. I don't even have photoshop. I used Procreate and free face editing apps... Shad is delusional. The fact he used to make fun content really sucks but now that I see his true colours I am disgusted; he's pretty problematic with some of his rather anti-LGBTQ views as well.
I try to be pretty objective to people who have problematic views because I believe people can change over time but something about Shad is going in a direct where I'm not so sure.
Dude does basic shit and acts like it’s a skill, he starts the video saying how much he loves his wife like yeah dude your supposed to that ain’t a skill either 😂😂😂
Honestly removing the sun behind her would be a faster and easier way to fix it. And lets give credits where credits due: his old works aren't good, they are way below average but there is some little skill. I say it mostly because we all would praise if it came from a novice artist to fuel their passion - a bit hypocritical. I started my art career because of few kind words of support. May be if someone had done the same for him, he wouldn't have to lie so desperately to himself now and was an actual good artist.
I mean, he has a whole audience of people on YT who like him. He has Jazza, a big art YTber. He just has an issue with wanting to be the best in the room, he has a cringe argument with Jazza at a convention. Go watch it, it's bad. I'd hit my sibling so hard if they acted like that in public lol
Shad's original drawings aren't that bad, I draw 50 times worse than him. If he only improved his own skills, instead of using AI, he could be a very good artist
this guy is not a clown he is the entire circus 😅 how dellutional must you be to call yourself an artist after just using stable difusion over and over again making it look even worse
I also think he was using his "personality" to goad artists into drawing his character for him, for free.
Since AI steals and mashes millions of better artists' compositions, gestures, and poses, it totally makes sense that his starting input with all that incorporated made the final input worse than pure AI theft 😞
@@alexarockman3999 i mean, if he was drawing all this time he'd be so good by now.

That and (I do feel guilty for this) when he keeps saying "my art is literally professional quality" and his brother just gives him a look...and you can tell he's trying not to laugh. That gives me that good gut laugh every time.
They are missing key parts of 'the art' thing. :(
There is simply a reason why it takes literaly years(!) of practise on the fundamentals to become a real professional in what you do.

I'm glad that you were at least entertained xD! Also, all your points are so true. It will mess up artist in the future:(
Big head is artistic style. In anime and manga, having big head compared to body is a commont artistic style and he is doing that. So that proves that he actually uses ai well, it blends realism with stylized body proportions.
@@markoliimatainen2565 lmao. this comment sent me.
"He needs to go back to writing, he needs to go back to what he's good at" He's a horrible writer too 😂
Lol, I realized that xD
At least he wrote it without AI. Maybe.
@@saoliath5000 His artistic eye, lol....damn his 'artistic eye'

I even told them the good old "make something better, I challenge you!" thingy.. and maybe after this video's release but Shad literally made a post like "okay, I challenge anyone to make this exact artwork with this exact pose with just prompts and no editing! It's not as easy, is it???"
Sorry, Shad! You're not using AI, instead AI companies are using you as a useful idiot to promote them. They get hype and your undying loyalty, you get the carnival ride experience of being an artist. Do these images look the same to you???" then leaves 10 links to AI images that look the same, they only have a different subject matter, but they all have the super ugly AI style with nonsensical elements and boring compositions... you know, the things that can't be solved by just adding a billion extra photos and writing twice as long prompts.

But you know, Shad seems to think that we should feel sorry for this character because "if you really think about it HE'S the real victim"
And stupid stuff like this is a dime a dozen on the internet.
Ah, that's disappointing to hear. I assumed he was probably a good at that, lol.
I’m never going to read the book. Was it a villain protagonist who was just poorly written? Because that’s one thing. Or was the audience supposed to like and root for Mr. Child rapist mass murderer?
I appreciate Shad for his historical stuff, but his AI takes were just ridiculous, thank you for this video
ahaha, you are welcome.
@@joetheschmoe1066 Well, Jazza said he was gunna separate himself from his brother's content and step away from the AI subject in general for now.
@@friendlyneighborhoodartist ah didnt know that

🤡 why he'll be a clown, always.

I feel the same way about him. Doing art means doing a bunch of shit you don't WANT to.
If you didn't know, Shad is Jazza's brother. Yes that Jazza. The way he treats Jazza and Jazza's art by claiming that using ai makes him better than Jazza is super cringe.
I wouldn't be surprised if he used AI to write his book either.
there is enough cringe to go around, look up 'shadiversity and jazza argue' LOL
I've seen it >_
I love that my first thought about his image is that her head was way too big, then that was the first thing you fixed.
Well, yeah, that was the point with the darkening, lol. I wanted to go for a rimlight
I appreciate that you made this! I especially like how you kept calling him baby boy for all his edits that he kept feeding back into the AI, as well as offered better alternatives like generating a picture and then heavily editing it from there. That's like a way better use of the tool than what Shad is doing, especially when he's so high and mighty about it being his work.
haha, thanks. i do try to have a little comedy. shad wants no creative part of the process, it does show how insecure he is.
Reminds me of the plot from the Gladiator, him being the Commodus
This is what a homie uses social media instead of going to therapy, man this dude need to get his personal issues straight.
I mean he does try, lol.

A Natural Prodigy, lol. 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for calling out him using his wife's face in all his "art". There's so much cringe going on here that this seems to go under everyone's radar but this seems particularly creepy to me. I presume she gave him consent (why?!) but even so, it feels creepy and weird.

@@teamfappers-couswecare9296 hahaha thanks
We can only hope that it moves in a positive direction but as long as pro-ai do not understand the art community, they'll never think it's theft
The part that always gets me is the amount of times he says it looks perfect and how anyone with an "artistic eye" would agree, meanwhile there are so many things wrong between the proportions, there being two suns apparently, and how he still gave her "football player shoulders" which was something he said he fixed but made worse.
The artistic eye always gets me. I legit can't stop laughing at being a perfectionist with it looking like that
Hmmm… I will admit that I recently did some experiments in Stable Diffusion, and it inspired me to conjure up a plan to program my own coded algorithm and dataset based on photography that only I take to avoid any stealing or copyright (or free-to-use online stocks work as well).

"He should stick to writing"
No. Plus, Shad is a homophobe.
yeah, i heard about this after this video XD
@@aralornwolf3140 There was a way to make this book good but instead we all know it's just a weird power fantasy.
Her first comment was "why does she have a ginormous forehead?"
Ehrm...

I am pretty much with you here.
If Shad wanted to be known as some great user of AI then he should be causing the models to create something or behave in a way that normally would not be possible given the restrictions the models are built on. Something novel and creative that could stand out and considered amazing.
@@jonathonedmonds7346 Well, the fact that it remains "images" for now. They just want to make images, not art.

What do you think about the situation when, for example, someone cannot afford a cover and there are 2 options:
1. There will be no cover, so no artist will earn money
2. The cover will be made by AI and the artist will not make any money either
We assume that the AI that was used is based on a database with appropriate rights.

I wanted to use it for making pictures of my world but :/ fuck that
The interesting thing here is that AI image generation is here to stay; that genie isn't getting back in the bottle. So artists are going to have to find a way to cope with this new situation. Not really sure how that's going to work out, because I imagine we're going to see AI pix bite into the market for incidental or background art, which is going to be rough on commercial artists.
@hoi-polloi1863 just because it's out, don't mean we can't imprison it ;)
Same for me under following premises:
1. No AI-learning from artists who don´t consent
2. Artists involved in the learning process get a fair share.
3. No commercial use of the created images.
4. No distribution of the created images in any form (preventing incestous AI-learning and discouraging people)
5. Most important: If you can afford it, pay an artist.
Just to clarify, I know these premises can probably not be enforced in any way as it probably will always be explotative but it is merely a list of premises under which I would think about using it.

The problem is that he’s not good at writing either. lol
I figured that out very quickly, lol
About the lighting, Shad basically said he doesn't care if it doesn't make sense. All he cares about is it looks cool.
i know, but it doesn't really look cool. he's so cringe, lol.

I literally have never minded when people are like this, like you. It's always some level of dishonesty or trying to claim or scam for me.
I love jazza! I have his kickstarter bag for artists! Shad is totally jealous of his brother lol
Well, it's also that he shit on a bunch of artists by saying they are 'ignorant' if they don't use the tech.
Got any tips for someone that is 34 and colorblind wanting to learn drawing? I hope someday to make a comic/manga.
Well, what level of colorblind are you? A friend of mine is colorblind! I can ask him!

The sketch you did over his "piece" in the first 2 minutes is such a improvement already... Ooof
Well, ya know. Ai sucks lol
@neurosp the difference between artists and techbros is they make excuses and fool themselves into thinking they are the artist, lol
Noooo! Don't tell him to stick to writing! He's really not good at it!
I'm so sorrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy >_
He says he has an artistic eye, an eye for anatomy and proportion like it's something amazing only he knows and everybody else is beneath him, while any other actual artist rolls their eyes and keeps studying art fundamentals because it's not that fucking deep.
Lol, I know right 🙃
Hey, your video came up in my recommended list because I've been watching a lot of videos on the topic of AI today, and yeah...
Where is your version of the photo to see?
Oh, lmao. I deleted after the video. I just tried to fix it, it was way more work to edit than I was prepared for.
Hey what's the point of that thing in the bottom left corner?
Oh, it's my pmgtuber character. I don't have money for a vtuber model that moves and I also don't feel comfortable doing on camera.
@@friendlyneighborhoodartist so just do a voice over?
@@wilky1189 I like using my art :) it's fun.
Brooks insists he is professional but I doubt anyone would want to use these images commercialy. Tje best thing he can do is to learn anatomy basics before manipulating what he doesn't fully understand.
He says he has a great understanding of anatomy, lol....
his writikg is attrocious.

Let the toddlers play with their toys. The way we've got Ai set-up is unsustainable on so many levels. Imagine a future where Ai continues to sample itself based on what it draws from the internet and just gets more and more samey.
I mean, since ai bros can't stop upload their poorly made slop, it will feast on itself at some point
The big head makes me so uncomfortable lol! Lighting Incan give a pass because I do a lot of “unrealistic” lighting for the purpose of the image/style/story, but that BIG of an anatomical error, after boasting about their perfect art for so long is just embarrassing

@@friendlyneighborhoodartist I don't really like his art style in my opinion it kind of looks ugly to me, but I'm not really into that cartoony style that he has. It's subjective you either. Think it looks good or you don't.
Jazza He's more of a salesman/ good teacher then an artist. He really knows how to advertise himself which is why he's like really popular. A lot of artists don't know how to sell themselves. so you don't even know they exist

I try to be pretty objective to people who have problematic views because I believe people can change over time but something about Shad is going in a direct where I'm not so sure.
