Love that Strat Chris, I have one very similar with the large backwards headstock and the bridge pickup upside down Hendrix style, great jamming as usual Sir 👏🙌👌🤘

PS. Chris you don’t sound like John…, you sound like you. Which is cooler anyway 😎

The way you hold the pick is unique

He probably holds it upside down like SRV did. Or he might be using the side of the pick to strut and strum.

Is that a JH guitar? Left handed neck, different tension, I love it!

I'm pretty sure there was plenty of stank face going on here, we just couldn.t see it!
    Great playing brother!

Heavy string gauge as per SRV?
Sounds authentic w a touch of Hendrix reverse string tension.

Where did you get that neck from?

What is that a frankenstrat? Like the neck! Was going to buy the Hendrix strat years ago, but couldn't get used to the knobs and cable jack being on top. Ended up buying the ash American Standard that I've had for years. Although, if you use the tremolo arm it's completely out of tune. Never understood how Jimi, Stevie, Phillip and others are able to go gonzo with the dive bombs and remain in tune. Is it the vintage strats or what???
