- A basic tutorial on how to draw a basic house ;) After so long, Ive tried to make a simple video on how to manage two point perspective (3D) when drawing a house. Hope you guys like it!

Tip: you don't have to draw the whole line while making details. You can just hold the ruler in the position you would do the line, BUT you only do the small segment. It helps to clean it up

The octogan shape model wooden house that my brother and i build, i only drew the floor plan. But, i had the idea of the exterior in mind. We started building the walls for each section of the house and furnitures based on the floor plan. After completing the interior part of first floor, we moved out building the verandah or walkaround patio. Once the first floor was completed, we moved on to second floor and balcony. Lastly, was the roof, garage, fence, carpet grass and pool. The exterior of the house turned exactly what i imagined in my mind. I didn't draw the exterior before building it because i won't know where the pillars, beam, wall have to be.

I really love drawing and I want to design my own house someday but now I end up enrolling to engineering cause engineering have many opportunities than archirects, then after being an engineer I want to make my own design house and build my own house.

Thats what you called isometric drawing.. it more easily to draw isometric when you are going to use triangle ruler

"Perspective drawing"!!!...yes, learned how to do this back in the 8th grade.
This is "two point perspective".
I would recommend learn how to draw from a one point then work your way up. Especially if you have never drawn this way before.
Once you get one point down, it actually becomes easier.
Well, it did for me, and that was in the 8th grade.

A T-Square and a Triangle are the right instruments to draw a 2-point perspective to ensure vertical lines are parallel.
