Just an idea. How about expain not only the depth but the distance to your wall. Also different times of the year the sun is stronger. Need to take that into consideration
It’s from Fiskars, I have it. It’s not worth buying unfortunately because the orange disc is removable and only barely held in place, so it just ends up falling off and either breaking or getting lost 😕

Should you deadhead butterfly bush that is planted in a planter?
Yes, it would be a good idea to do so to help clean up the plant after the blooms are spent ☺
