I try, but I fail. I have grieved the Holy Spirit, but He has not totally left me yet. I do not know what to do. I have no church or friends that know them as I have. I have no teachers or guidance in my life. I ask for an audible voice, but I hear nothing. I have been consumed by demons in my past, so the "still, small voice" gets lost in their chatter. I try, but yet I fail. I armor up, but I get cut to pieces and fail into old sins. I cling to the cross, but it gets difficult to hold on through the wind and waves: though I stand. I am losing my way and don't even know how to pray. I feel like I am in a huge body of water, gasping for breath, and no one is there to help me. All I ask for is God/Lord Jesus/Holy Spirit to guide and talk to me. I am repentant of my sins. My body is failing me, but cries of healing, unto God, go unheard and unhealed. I guess now all I have is to ask others to intercede on my behalf, because I have nothing.
If you want to change, it starts with your thoughts, then your words and finally your actions! All you need is a bible and quite time in prayer. We are all on this same journey! You are not alone. Reach out to find God’s Love, Peace, and Hope.
The Lord Jesus says that in our weakness, He is strong. It sounds like you are in the best place yet, because He always gets to our hearts in the darkest of places. It sounds like you are entering the “fellowship of Christ’s sufferings” spoken of in Philippians 3:8-14: “Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and THE FELLOWSHIP OF HIS SUFFERINGS, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Take heart, friend! If Paul struggled with dark places and Jesus struggled in the Garden of Gethsemane sweating drops of blood in His severe stress and feeling completely and utterly alone and abandoned by His Father, why do we think we don’t have to go through it too? What you are going through right now is a great honor. You are being “tried by the fire” spoken on in 1 Peter 1:6-9: “In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith-the salvation of your souls.” Jesus is purifying you in this dark place and you are learning (perhaps for the first time in your life) what TRUE FAITH is. Faith is not based on our feelings about God, and sometimes He is completely silent and seems to abandon us. If He is doing that to you right now, it is a great honor because you are “fellowshipping with Christ in his sufferings”! What an honor! You are finally beginning to enter into the realm of true faith not based on positive emotions or feelings! Don’t believe the lies of Satan that say you are abandoned by God. Jesus loves you! He sent me to encourage you. Just keep standing if that’s all you have strength to do (Ephesians 6:13- “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”). Remember, the place you find yourself in is a great honor, because only those tested and tried by the fire of God can be shown to be gold and worthy vessels of honor. (1 Peter 1:7; 2 Timothy 2:20-21) Also, in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, Paul spoke about the very weakness you are experiencing: “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” I am praying for you that you will come out of this “valley of the shadow of death”, but not a second too soon, because God is deepening your level of faith in Him so that regardless of what you see or don’t see, hear or don’t hear, or feel or don’t feel, you still CHOOSE to believe in Him. Keep “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,” (Hebrews 12:2) because we can’t create our own faith; He has to do that for us too! We are basically completely dependent on Him to do it all for us, and He takes great joy when we finally surrender to Him so that He can do it within us. Keep up the good fight and just keep standing, because He is doing an invisible work within you through this dark place. Remember one more thing, the chastening of the Lord spoken of by Paul in Hebrews 12:5-11: “And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: “My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” You got this!!🙏👍😊
Absolutely Correct. But God wants us to stand up & fight. And stand for God & Truth. Jesus sent his disciples out into the world with a sword, ( The word of the truth) also. We need to know the time to stand up with the truth, & Do not fear. Do we look for the fight, no but if attacked, we need to stand up with the truth No Fear.

Hi Mark. Falling into Jesus. Matt 21:44 What an excellent concept. Blessings.
