Watching in 2022. I love this man's story. Raised Catholic, but nobody told me about having a personal relationship with the Lord, that I could get closer to God! What a profound impact bringing Jesus in my life has had on me. He is correct about the hidden secret. His love is so great, I just want everyone to know Him. I am not ashamed to say I love Jesus. As a gentile, who believed in the Lord Jesus, I often imagine about how a natural born Jew who studied the scriptures all life comes to faith, I can imagine the surge of emotions, overwhelming fear, reverence, joy, and peace! Reminds me of Paul asking Jesus “who are you” and then trembling when he find out that it is Jesus he is persecuting.

Shalom.. My family was Jewish. Very close knit family. Around 1978 my sister walked into the kitchen where relatives and my parents were around the table. My sister walked up with a book in hand and announced she wanted to read something for them to hear. My aunt asked for the book and said my sister should let her read it to them. My aunt is an articulate women. Well, my aunt read out loud. When she finished she turned to my sister and told her that what she read was about Jesus, And that we are Jewish and do not believe in Him. My aunt then added..."This is a Catholic Bible.. we do not believe in Jesus." Much to everyone's surprise my sister then told everyone that the Bible came from my room, and it was the Bible I was given for my Bar Mitzvah, telling my aunt that what she had just read was from Isaiah 53. She told me you could hear a pin drop.

@@Anamija After being "disowned" by my parents... About ten years later my dad would listen to my pastor's messages and even copy them to his tape player.. and my mom ended up in a nursing home run by Christians. ;)

The Greek word Christ means Messiah. In posts I would suggest Yeshua the Messiah or Jesus the Messiah. The Jewish people have been killed in the name of 'Christ'.

The followers of Jesus were actually converting from Gentile religions to the way of the Jew, Yeshua. The first generation of Yeshua followers were all just Messianic. It is a pattern that has repeated throughout history, 1.period of suffering for the jews; 2.fervent followers of a potential messiah; 3.failure of said person to be the messiah; 4.Of the 5 stages of grief some of the most loyal followers get stuck on the denial stage, and then twist the truth in order rationalise their position. jesus was just one of the more famous ones due to the romans wanting a religion for their empire. other than that jesus was not unique in any way. unfortunatley now after millenia of jews showing their superhuman devotion to God and prepared to give up their lives to die for God's holy name in accordance with His instructions in the torah, the jews have finally been weakened very close to the end, as God (as with job) lets the satan run rampant and try his hardest to test the chosen generation, to see if they can stand up to the ultimate test of faith and love in God. For any *knowledgable* jews this is a passable test, but to disenfranchised jews such as those seduced by western culture, such as reform, conservative and even some modern orthodox, the test is way harder as they have lost this unbroken tradition of knowledge and love of God.

Am from South American loving in the United States. I was Catholic but left the Church to persue buddhism beliefs. Teo years ago, right before Covid I went to a Christian gathering who most were christians. After meeting with them I had decided to commit to read the Bible 20minutes per day. According to Jewish scriptures, it's already a proven fact that Jesus cannot be the messiah. So _any person_ who still claims that he IS, is a Christian. (And hence, not Jewish.)

It seems that Everytime a Jewish person comes to their true Messiah - others including their families want them to see a psychiatrist, but when they are seeking Buddhist or some other false God they don't harass them at all. Let me put it this way, you and I believe that in the End of Days, Jesus will come back to earth. In the book of Revelation 10:7 "...the mystery of God would be finished, as He declares to His servants the prophets".
When that time comes you and I will understand the "Mystery of God".
God will judge all men, I believe God will not ask about our religion in order to be save, otherwise He is not a just God. All men have sin and the penalty for sin is death regardless of men's religion. Jesus alone was called the Lamb of God who paid the sins of the world. Jesus also was the only man who claimed that He rose again from the dead and claim that He will come back to the world. What is the "Mystery of God" then? No one knows because it's a mystery.

This is so heartwarming, I'm really glad for you!! In my darkest hours, when I felt suicidal no amount of meditation, psychotherapy or medicine managed to help me, only Jesus did. When I turned to Him for help he took all the pain and emptiness in my heart away insantly, it was incredible and I felt very calm and relaxed.. However, the House of Israel, which was made up of the Ten Lost Tribes, have been lost and scattered around the world since the fall of the Northern Kingdom around 721 B.C.E.. The House of Israel, the Ten Lost Tribes, cannot be re-united with the House of Jacob, because the House of Israel has not been around for thousands of years, that is why they are called the Ten LOST Tribes. This passage in Jeremiah is describing a Jewish People where all of the descendants of every tribe thrives, and has made their way to the Promised Land. Because it speaks of both the House of Israel and the House of Judah together, with G-d, in a single new covenant, and since the House of Israel cannot be unified with the House of Judah, this entire passage has not happened yet, and cannot refer to a messiah that has already arrived because the house of Israel is still lost. What these verses are saying is that everyone will no longer need to look in any book, neither a 'New Testament,' nor even the Hebrew Scriptures, to tell them what is Right and what is Wrong. They will know it instinctively because it will be in their hearts, truly making G-d their G-d, and in turn, truly making them G-d's People. Certainly this has also not happened yet, and so this passage cannot be referring to the New Testament.

Please also read carefully. Jeremiah 31:32 does not say 'I will put my NEW Torah in their inward parts' It says, 'I will inscribe my Torah upon their hearts.' The laws of G-d do not change or get changed, they are eternal as G-d is Eternal:

28 The hidden things belong to the Lord, our God, but the revealed things apply to us and to our children forever: that we must fulfill all the words of this Torah.
Tehillim - Psalms - Chapter 19
8 The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of the Lord is faithful, making the simple one wise
9 The orders of the Lord are upright, causing the heart to rejoice; the commandment of the Lord is clear, enlightening the eyes.
10 The fear of the Lord is pure, existing forever; the judgments of the Lord are true, altogether just.
Tehillim - Psalms - Chapter 111
7 The works of His hands are truth and justice; all His commandments are faithful.
8 Steadfast forever, made in truth and uprightness
As a matter of fact, Ezekiel 11:17-20 reflects the ideas found in Jeremiah 31:26-34: that G-d's laws will be in our hearts, not books, in the messianic age, which will last forever:
Therefore say, Thus saith the Etrnl G-d; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their G-d. [Ezekiel 11:17-20]
As I wrote above, this new covenant that G-d speaks about in Jeremiah 31 is not talking about a new covenant, a new contract, and He does not mean a new set of laws, a new Torah, a new scripture. It means the covenant between G-d and the Jews and the laws of that covenant are eternal.
Finally, the text from Jeremiah 31 reads,
33 And no longer shall one teach his neighbor or [shall] one [teach] his brother, saying, "Know the Lord," for they shall all know Me from their smallest to their greatest, says the Lord, for I will forgive their iniquity and their sin I will no longer remember [Jeremiah 31:33]
This new covenant means that no one will have say 'Know the L-rd,' because the whole world will already believe in G-d. This part of the passage especially has not happened yet, and this is proven because had it already happened, no one will have to missionize anyone! Since they spend hundreds of millions of dollars every year, just to missionize the Jews, just to get the Jews to 'Know the L-rd,' then this prophecy in Jeremiah 31 has not happened yet, and these missionaries prove it every day.
