Good to see people reiewing these, it's a great jacket. While i didn't get the Kuhl for a few reasons, I liked it a lot. Ive had waxed jackets for decades and ended up getting the FT, but mostly because I got a deal. What I didnt like about the kuhl was the zippered pockets. I only use them for my hands and I dont care about vanity. The zippers are just annoying. Also, I didn't like the dropped tail, I stopped buying carhartt when they did that. Lastly, and I can't confirm, but all of these new canvas textiles with spandex are just not as durable. That said, I have many kuhl products and love them all.
Great feedback, I’ve been considering picking up the Flint & Tinder jacket since it’s been so wildly popular but after owning two of these jackets now for sometime, I’m quite content.
I just got mine from a shipment, found it to be a little too stiff expecting something a little softer to wear casually. It's really well made for sure, very comfortable and not that warm in 30 degree celcius temps. What do you think of the stiffness?

Love it. I had a huckberry waxed jacket and returned it. I have this one and it’s great. Everything I have from kuhl is great.

It will beat in well. My Turkish Coffee one is much softer now. I can go down to 30 degrees with a sweater layered underneath.
