- Let's go to the Shipshewana, Indiana sports card show on Memorial Day Monday, May 27, 2024.
The TripleCrown24 RUclips channel is focused around one dealer's journey through the hobby via card shows, discourse with fellow hobbyists, and grading submission reveals. Today's video recaps the buy/sell/trade transactions from my most recent card show.

Excellent show JT! Congrats on the Stroud.
Thanks!
The #1 card show vlogger on RUclips.
Thank you for the kind words!
We’re the packers guys, Glad to make the trade on the Love rpa. thanks man!!
Thanks for stopping by the table and I hope you enjoy the card!
Congrats on the Stroud and the successful show. Loving the vlogs
Thanks!
Doin it right again unsurprisingly, congrats my friend!
Thanks sir!
Good for you for holding to what you wanted on the three higher end cards. Enough is enough when it comes to these buyers consistently asking what we as dealers “value” this stuff at, then ask for a percentage off that number, when there’s a well-thought out price already labeled. I enjoy your content. It’s definitely one of the most educational vlogs on RUclips for the hobby.
I’m just a buyer/collector mostly just goes in pc rarely sell just trade maybe some. But prob is most are overpriced above comps so without percentage off might as well just buy online other than can’t see up close and in person. Now if price at or close to comp and put sign prices as fairly marked already then can do away with game of how much off/ how much room is there games.
Thank you for the continued support and kind words. I strive to make up with education and knowledge what I may lack in the charisma department
I think the latter part of what you said is the complaint by the OP. The criticism is towards those asking to value a card lower before taking an additional discount, in spite of the card being priced "fairly". By fairly, I mean not necessarily at or below the last sale(s), rather in the ballpark of what someone would pay.
@@TripleCrown24 you showed a lot of cool breakdown in how you do things. And to each their own. I’m sure if ever got a table I’m not gonna wanna do huge percentage off cause you gotta pay for table AND gotta make something on what you paid for the cards. So it’s not easy I’m sure.
@@GlennShook Thank you and you're right, not easy at all. It's a lot of costs that some of the guys coming up to the table don't take into consideration when they start asking for dealer prices.
It’s so cool seeing your strategy of getting into some of the bigger cards pay off after setting hat goal at the beginning of the year. The Downtown/ case hit approach definitely seems like a great way to achieve that
Thank you, I am proud of getting to this point. The case hits are almost no brainers when bought at a certain price. Doesn't seem to matter who the player is, especially on Downtowns and Kabooms. Finding them at a workable price, though, is very challenging.
Great snag on the Stroud! Great stuff!
Thanks!
Greatstorytelling Thx for sharing
Thank you for watching
Job well done
I'm glad you had a great show!! Need to grab dinner soon!
Yes sir! Name the time and place (which is hopefully Nuckin' Futs)
Nice Stafford Exquisite!!!
Thanks Brad!
Really impressed with the detail and presentation of your videos. Excellent work! What's your go to app for comping?
Thank you! I use a combination of apps, you can check out the video I did a couple of weeks ago if you'd like a more in-depth explanation on them.
Do you take Venmo or PayPal or Zelle at shows like these? I know cash is king but just curious if you even accept alternate forms of payment.
I take Venmo/Zelle if the buyer doesn't have cash
What up TC24
@triplecrown24 what camera setup do you have I like it
Go Pro 9 on a chest mount
Bro quick question what do u used to record ur shows it’s a go pro ??

Logan is perfect guy for cj stroud
Agreed, he was the first guy I thought of when I bought it
