I had issues with this plugin despite following older videos on your website and having the grouping correct. sometimes I had to redraw the target face as it didn't have clean geometry in it, meaning I had breaks in the lines that made up the edge. Same goes for the target lines. They must be one straight line each, not lines that are made up of more than one line. For example, if a line has 3 control or anchor points. To get around the issue of the ends not meeting up, you can force it to match perfectly by resizing your geometry to be one less face each side on your imposed grid. This explained in the examples on the developers website.

Complicated geometry is going to require more complicated methods…
