After some quick testing for resistance difference between both tail lights I finally found why the truck was showing a message saying I had a right rear tail light out.
Dammit! So much for awesome LED's. I love the brightness, but the simplicity of replacing one bulb like back in the day is gone. :-( Thanks for your help!!
Both of my tail lights are failing. Each have a few Leds out. Very frustrating how expensive these lights are. You would think Leds would last longer than a incandescent bulb.

A1 auto 117. Shipped but they were the wrong ones so now they are sending me the correct ones free but I have to ship the wrong ones back. UPS labels can't be printed at home which blows imho😅
My 2014 Laramie showed the right rear brake light was out (LED'S). The diagram showed the cab light working, the left light working. the right rear brake light not working. I had NO turn signal warnings. Turns out the cab brake light was burned out! Be sure to check your cab light!
Mine keeps saying left rear blinker out, but as yours, my front blinker is normal speed, the mirror blinker is fast, but the left rear (which is the one that says is out) has all the led rows lit up. Anyone can lead me in right direction?
Mine is doing the exact same thing I saw it in the day time that the middle was dim in the light. My exact same tail light looks just like that. Was hoping to not have to replace. Darn.
@@stevec1660 they can't or are not meant to be replaced, I'm sure someone out there has taken them apart but I didn't want to as who knows how long the other LEDs will last.

I had one replaced 6 months ago at the dealer and it’s out again already. Same side. Dealer said it’s under warranty but will need to pay a $169 diag fee. I’m just gonna get aftermarket lights instead
I'm not sure which type you have. There is a chrome bezel style and a smoked style. This is the one I bought and it still works great. I had the same issue with mine, ended up being the cab light on the outside. You just need to remove the cover and the center light bulb was blown out. So check all the cab lights especially the one for lighting up the bed of the truck. If it’s blown then there is your problem. It happened to me when I went through a car wash

You're welcome! It's a sealed assembly, the only bulb that is replaceable is the reverse light, the LEDs are non replaceable and requires you to replace the entire tail light.

I went back to incandescent housing and one bulb. Saved money from buying new LED housing every time a bar went out.

is it your back up light? if so you can just replace the bulb

My 2018 ram 1500 rebel is way more worst, dash say rear turning light out for both side, and rear light is not working at our
Is it your tail lights that are bad or the connections?
Joe Doing Random try put another aftermarket led light, doesn't work as well, I believe is connection
I had the same issue with mine, ended up being the cab light on the outside. You just need to remove the cover and the center light bulb was blown out.
