Great review of a truly 10/10 album that we are all so lucky to have been released to us to savour. It’s immense! Well done Nathan
Well said Dave!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍😎
It's great to see so much positivity for this release!! It's very refreshing!
@@NathanOnShuffle Absolutely. Truly a great album. Nice reaction as well
I am so grateful for the reminder of my joy as a teen, hearing and taping new songs and albums off the radio and then getting the release, the building excitement of the tour and the unfolding depth of the music after *many* repeated plays.
Shine On is wonderfully catchy ear candy. Right now Counties and Countries is really ringing in my head. Great stuff❣😎
Thanks for your spot on review!
Thanks Jon and the Band Geeks ~ love the fun you are having rocking this awesome music!
I can’t agree with you any less than what you’ve said. It’s a brilliant album and has done great on the channel. Great review from Nathan
@@TheAlbumReviewGuy Big Love, Brother Dave!
TRUE❣️❣️❣️👍😎

Excellent review. Thanks for your concise yet informative breakdown of the tracks. I just got my CD in the mail (so old school, but I still like physical media). Can’t wait to hear it. RW
I've been listening to this album all weekend, and it hasn't gotten old yet. Such a great album!
Can't wait for your review!
Spot on review! Well done. You sighted every reference that I picked up on. I've been a Yes fan since 1978 and this album sounds like it could have been the follow up to (and a step forward from) The Ladder, which I think is an outstanding album. What an unexpected gift to the Prog community. I would agree that this album sits along side Keys to Ascension, The Ladder, Magnification, and even ABWH stylistically, but has a more consistent feel and slightly better song writing to it. Just my opinion.
Jon Anderson and the band Geeks sounds like the real Yes and the album is really good, I have been long time Yes fan since early 1970 s
Hi. Definitely agree with you on this. It’s a wonderful album and just like Yes of yesterday. Dave✅✅

Excellent review. It's a wonderful album (and agreed, the cover is meh at best). I am a huge fan of the Band Geeks. Some of the finest musicians (and truly nice people) on the planet!
I've heard 3 tracks so far: the first 3 tracks on the album. And my favorite so far is "Counties and Countries". I look forward to hearing the rest of the album. I may even purchase a copy off of Amazon. Great review, Nathan!
The album is EXCELLENT!!!👍😎
@@jeffschielka7845 Well, of course _you're_ going to say that, Jeff! 😆
Hey Nathan! TRUE is AWESOME!!! The Band Geeks are incredible and Jon's voice is simply magical. I love it! 10/10!!! FOREVER JON❣️❣️❣️👍😎
Hi Jeff it’s just superb. Can’t think of a poor track can you?
@@TheAlbumReviewGuyHey Dave! No. Every track is excellent. So happy for Jon and his fans!👍😎
So glad you are loving it!! ❤️❤️❤️

terrific review Nathan. Jon Anderson 80 years old and still going strong. WOW. band geeks must be pinching themselves with this release. glad to see their current shows on RUclips and hope they do another one
I'm loving this new album , harks back to some of the classic sounds of YES , and the Band Geeks are so impressive and Anderson with those beautiful vocals as per usual make this one of the releases of the year.
Cheers Nathan , great review and video. I'm with you on the Anderson / Stolte release... a fantastic album , and also the sleeve artwork is stunning on it too. 😍🎵🎵🤘
It’s brilliant!
Hi Nathan. I refer you back to my comments on your Olias review...
Here's about how I'd rank the "last 4 YES albums":
Heaven & Earth: 4.5 (not very good)
Quest: 6 (Pretty good)
Mirror to the Sky: 7.5 (Good)
True: 8.5 (Very good) (Yes, in my opinion, this is also a YES album)
A fair assessment, not too different from how I'd rate those albums...
@@NathanOnShuffle Hey, I wanted you to know that I just wrote a review of this album on my blog, just for fun. Just felt like trying to rate each song. It was fun. I'll post a link to it in a community post on my channel, in case you'd like to read it.
Great album despite an awful cover.
Yeah, Jon should have hooked up with Roger Dean to do the cover.
@@TheReaperMan275 for sure!
Jon's picture is on most of his solo albums. 👍😎
@@jeffschielka7845 it's not just his picture that looks bad. I have no problem with his picture on the album, but the rest of the band should be on it too then, but Jon's ego wants all the attention, as usual.
It's not the perfect cover, but not THAT bad i think🤔
Excellent album.
This is a triumphant album. The Band Geeks + Jon are the rebirth of the Yes sound. Totally agree with your review Nathan. Btw it really is the worst album cover in Jon’s wondrous career
The album is very good, but what was Jon thinking with that ugly album cover? His ego is even more bloated than I thought it was. Let's just say I'm glad I don't buy records or cd's anymore.
Look at all his solo albums. His picture is on the cover of most of them. Why would TRUE be any different? 👍😎
@@jeffschielka7845 you don't think it's an ugly album cover? Seriously? It's hideous.
@@Lightmane It's Jon.👍😎
@@jeffschielka7845 it's one of the ugliest covers I've ever seen. I'm surprised you like it.
Does it have to have Roger Deans spaced out.artwork to have your approval. pathetic. Jon should have his picture on everything he produces especially since he's been doing it since 1968
