Congratulations on completing rental car #32. I am excited to see another premium or luxury rental car review because i just reserved mine for my upcoming trip next month, Thanks for doing this series!
I reserved a luxury class with hertz, via AAA CDP. however the rate at the airport is a bit high still, so I may cancel it and rebook a premium class with budget/Avis thats a short uber ride off airport property. by the way, did the MKZ have about the same amount of interior space as the ford fusion its based on?
+007texan Yeah, they felt very similar in size. Maybe the MKZ had more leg room in the back? It's hard for me to say. It's been a few months since I drove the Fusion. Good luck with the rental. Let me know how it works.
100 Rental Cars thanks. And I am absolutely in love with the new front design of the mkz. it's the perfect blend of classy and sporty. think Lincoln is heading in the right direction with this new look.
oh wow! Your videos are amazing!! I'm going to a family trip, and was wondering which car is better for me and my family, searched everywhere only introducing some show room model, until I found your channel, you have all the infos and details that I wanna know, thanks alot! keeping up! you did a great job!! *subscribed.
almost went with the continental but the mkz i got was a used 2017 mkz select 2.0 fwd with only 2900miles on it! so i opted out for this based on the amzingly low miles for a 3 year old car one owner no accidents
Okay, so after watching several of your videos, you're doing a great job. The only additional advice that I'd give you is to invest in a GoPro with a dash mount so you can illustrate the driving dynamics and acceleration. I think if you do that, you're subscription count would go way up. I also subscribed to your channel. Hope you have a good week!
Surprising that it doesn't seem to have navigation (judging by the touch screen menu options I saw in your video). I'd expect that to come standard. Still a very nice car though - hoping to drive one soon.
There is many things I like about my MKZ but also a lot of things that I hate! Poor visibility, lack of head and legs room, some controls are too far from my hand (specially the one for the mirrors and the windows). The adjusting steering wheel could also be improved. But, as you do, I like the central console. 😊
peb52ble Thanks again for pointing this out. Obviously, I'm not car expert, but I do try to get this stuff right. How did you know which model this was? Do you own MKZ?
I do! I have a 2017 Select with the 400-horsepower twin-turbo V-6 AWD. I chose the Select trim because I didn't want the very low-profile tires that come with the Reserve trim. Too harsh ride and too much risk of pothole damage here in the Northeast!
I am a Major Rental car guy here , 25,000 miles for a 2017 , wouldn't be happy with paying for a rental that has that many miles on it for the year. I spend 6 or 7 thousand dollars a year and like my rental's to be low miles and in better shape for the money you pay. But as we know it's a spin of the wheel when picking up a rental , you get what they have at the time. so if you have the chance and it's a local rental place , check out the lot in advance and get ask for the best car class on the lot. Keep your expensive personal car at home and drive a rental for those trips across the state like I do..
Good advice; however, I take a slightly different approach. I mostly rent from one location so I try hard to be an "easy" customer. I'll happily take an inferior car every once in a while to make things easier for everyone. But, that means when there's a luxury car on the lot, I get first choice and usually a free upgrade.
I am definitely an easy customer and never cause problems. And I only rent from one location in my town due to knowing the manager well. Currently patient hoping one of the new Lincoln Continental's shows up one of these days, I so want to drive it.
Bryan Clampett he uses enterprise which is what he uses on a corporate rate (?) I believe with what I have gathered based off comments but I could be wrong. Anyways enterprise usually keeps their lower mileage cars with National. Anyways I've had cars with high milage that runs quite fine. I have a 17 infinti Q50 3.0t with 16,000 and it runs fine.
Bryan Clampett I've driven the continental and it's OK. It's not a boat but it steers clearly into the comfort side of luxury. I would say you have a better chance with Avis or its brands with seeing one vs enterprise and it's brands. Seen them a few times with Avis but twice with National and I rented one brand new in BOS
+KidCarReviews Neither of those brands, but I have rented a BMW, Infiniti, and Audi. Loved the BMW X3 and the Audi Q5. Not huge fan of the Infiniti QX80. What about you?
+KidCarReviews Thanks for the kind words! And thanks for watching my videos. Have you made any car review videos yet? You may not be able to drive yet, but you certainly can still have an opinion.
The buttons for drive, reverse, park, seem a little weird; Doubt I would like that. Sometimes at a red light, I prefer to put the car in neutral so I don't have keep my foot on the brake. Also, no comment about the visability while driving, the windows and pillars seem not so ideal from that standpoint?
No way!?! Well, I guess that does make a little sense. Ford owns Lincoln, so I'm sure they share parts/design. How the Fusion working out? I drove the titanium hybrid model a while back and loved it. Here's my review, I'd love your thoughts on the car: ruclips.net/video/i6pP3yVXLNo/видео.html

+007texan I completely agree.
Love my MKZ, my first Lincoln ever!
I’m definitely a fan of Lincoln now!

Thanks Andy! And good luck on your trip. Let me know what you decide to rent!
I just picked up a Black Label Vineyard edition with the AWD V6! And it is sweeeeet!😅
I LOVE my MKZ. only other car I would trade it for would be the new Continental
I bet. The MKZ is a great car. One of my favorites.

100 Rental Cars Cheers to you!
I ❤️ This Review !!! Poised, Simple, Elaborate, Professional, Direct ✔️
Thank you Dave!

sucks there is no navi on these, but my phone can show on screen with my navi at least but it has to be plugged in which is kinda annoying
Nice review but that's a Select, not a Reserve. All Reserve models come with 19-inch wheels and those are 18's.
+peb52ble Noooooo! Really? I was told it was the Reserve. Damn you rental company! Thanks for pointing out my mistakes.
@@100RentalCars Honestly, i would definitely believe the rental company over a random person on the internet
Nice review but that's not a Reserve, it's the Select trim level. The Reserve wheels are different.

+peb52ble Nice. I'm a bit jealous. That's a really nice car.
peb52ble doesn't the reserve have BLIS as standard? I had a MKZ with Avis and had way more features than this.
@@100RentalCars I have a 2019 Reserve 2 with 19 inch wheels and they aren't low profile.
If it would be the same exact price / miles / which one would you buy
a '17 Cadillac XTS Luxury or a '17 Lincoln MKZ Select/Reserve?
Didn't know there were a such thing as luxury plastic looking to get a 2017 select

how smooth is the ride
build quality ? is it better than Lexus and cadillac?
+chirag somaraj somaraj Hmmmm...to be honest they all feel similar. I do like this better than the Cadillac XTS.
Have you ever rented any sort of Lexus or Mercedes-Benz, if you did, did you like them?
+KidCarReviews Neither of those brands, but I have rented a BMW, Infiniti, and Audi. Loved the BMW X3 and the Audi Q5. Not huge fan of the Infiniti QX80. What about you?
100 Rental Cars Yup, I have seen your reviews on them, I am 12😁, I watch you videos because I am a car enthusiast. Btw, you are a great youtuber
+KidCarReviews Thanks for the kind words! And thanks for watching my videos. Have you made any car review videos yet? You may not be able to drive yet, but you certainly can still have an opinion.
Yup, I have made a couple and I ranted on a few too, check the channel out if you have time, Thank You!
+KidCarReviews I will! But post a link to your favorite one here. I'll pin your comment to the top.

These have the hold feature. When hold is on, once you stop the car holds the brake so you can rest the right foot.
Yo the screen is exactly like the Ford Fusion 2017 titanium.. I know cuz I have one

100 Rental Cars I also have the hybrid
