After watching your cabin videos I realized that you have every single piece of equipment and tool that a construction company has and you have people helping you that you call buddies. You should have see my grandfather renovate and build houses and then you should have watched my builds and renovations and you can’t because we did our work before videos were invented and before RUclips was invented. I believe you would have failed in my era and my grandfathers era because people didn’t have the affordability to buy everything they needed to do the jobs required to renovate and build houses and commercial buildings they had to think of ways to get rid of the waste and improve the house that are now lost to your generation because you have it so good! I flipped 12 properties and commercial buildings and built cabins garages and sheds and houses that I sold for 400-500% profit. In the 1990’s when the best economy was on fire and I saved the money until I found vacant land to develop. You are a privileged rich kid from up state New York and I was a poor kid from Detroit! I believe that you wouldn’t hold a candle to my families business! And you have it all handed to you for the taking! Spoiled and childish people who have it all given to them. Privileged people like you are sickening to me.

If you want to see my old work yard look up ZUG ISLAND US STEEL! Great Lakes Plant. My father and grandfather worked for the company and I did the same back breaking work my grandfather and father did back 100 years ago.

Do the steps look nice ah 5050 but do the steps work and help keep the area safer for you Max and any help that you have there with you absolutely and at the end of the day that's all that matters
true, the look rough. but i think it has a certain charm. won't feel like "the ol' cabin" if he puts new siding. it'll turn into a modern cabin, still nice but not the same charm. keeping the old siding makes it into a sleeper cabin. like they do with some cars where they have a monster engine but don't touch the paint. i dunno, i'm rambling.

To late now but stairs are the rule of 18".....Usually the rise is about 7ish and the run is about 11ish but you are close.....Equal in all respects based on total distance from top to bottom

If you have a 24” distance from ground to door; you have rise and run at 6/11 why not have 4 steps not three so that first step is not 12”. 24 divided by 6 is four. I’m not a Carpenter, Handyman or Math guy but surely you aren’t either. At least I can get a good laugh out of this video.
