I can’t begin to tell you how much I hated this disgusting book.
I love age gap romances, but NOT when it involves a creepy uncle🤢 and his messed up sons.
I just finished this book and I cannot fathom how she ended up with Kaleb 😂😂 wtf how was anyone supposed to root for a guy who made an entrance into a story like THAT. He was the worst choice of the three and the others weren't much better. That being said, I did think Noah was the best choice and I did give the book 5 stars lmaoooo. Purely because I was so highly entertained while reading it, it's the fastest I will ever read an almost 500 page book.

@@miquesbookvlogs372 I am concerned for those people 😂 I mean, I guess people love a bad boy and someone who eventually is sensitive and shows his feelings but like, the SA when he first met her?! The smashing her furniture?! His inner monologue during his POV was also horrifying, felt like a horror book with the things he was thinking about her 😂😂

I really enjoyed this book 🙈 But it’s so problematic and I get that but for some reason it worked for me 🤷🏻♀️ BUT I will also say this book was waaayyy tooo long! It dragged so much for a book with no plot 😩

I can never understand books like this, to be honest. I really only read historical fictions, it is my favorite genre ever, the moment I picked up resistance by Jennifer A. Nielsen in fourth grade it forever changed me. I never understand the appeal of spicy, sexual books like this especially ones I can get disgusting. So thanks for making a review so I have to let curiosity get the best of me and pick up a book like this!

Oh god, I came to RUclips looking for help after reading this book out of morbid curiosity. Legit, this book squicked me out far more than most "extreme" horror novels I've read - including Exquisite Corpse (LOVED!), anything by Matt Shaw, Jon Athan, Aron Beauregard, Stuart Bray, etc, etc. Seriously, this book got so far under my skin and I feel like I will never be clean again. I agree that this video is necessary therapy for anyone curious enough to check out this one.

This is the first video of yours I'm seeing and im a fierce credence hater. Im sold
I have not read this book but I am into Taboo kinks. So if your interested I will tell you what i get out of taboo media. I relieze this stuff walks a fine line between taboo and fucked up. But hear me out, The thrill of taboo porn is doing things that everyone else frowns upon. the thrill from reading or watching it is the rush you get from doing something your not supposed to do. People who like incest stuff get off to the idea of it but they wouldn't want to do it in real life. That's my two sence anyway.
This was fun. Some thoughts: 1- Penelope Douglas couldn't have written this "thing" during quarantine because it was released on January 2020 (before Covid). 2- I paused your video and went to re-read my review. I gave it 3 stars. It's porn trash, but at least it knows what it is (inside the romance genre). I've read worse romance books because they are trying hard to be this "mature" romances with "character development" and "serius issues" and then I read and I find all the cheesy, overused tropes and cringy dialogues I was not supposed to come accross, like "The hear principle" (1 star) or "People we meet on vacation" (2 stars). With those contemporary romances I felt I was lied to, but at least with Penelope Douglas, you know what you're gonna get, know what I mean? at least she's consistent and gives a f**k ; if you don't like her books, don't pick them up. 3- The girl was 18 when all the fu****g began, at least that's how I remember it, and she was totally into it, into all of them. If my memory serves, she started with the uncle and when the uncle rejected her, no more fu****g, she started doing the two cousins. I read it a year and half ago, I might be wrong. The ending was shit, completely shifting the dark tone of the book and giving two fu**ed people a happy ending with no therapy needed.

Man didn't skipped any details😂🙌... Btw its one of my fav books bcoz of nostalgia ( i read it when i was new to reading) .. At that time i was so shocked wtf did i just read but eventually i knew that my dark side enjoyed the book lol.. No matter how shitty tiernan was treated :) ...
