    Harry Zinser was my commanding officer. He earned the Navy Cross for that rescue. Great guy.

    Amazing story. I felt like I was there next to him. I flew Apache helicopters for over 20 years and I always thought the bravest guys were those SAR guys and MEDIVAC guys. Takes a lot of balls to do what they do!

    Outstanding! Glad they got you out of there. I have a friend who served with SAR 7 in 67-68. Glad he made it home too.

    Ridiculous peace truce for holidays theirs and ours, December 1969. I was in country 2 months and on the 31st got a PH. MY friends flying that day deserve all the respect.
