BEAUTY !!! ENDLESS BEAUTIFUL !!! THANK You !!! Always with a lot of love and light Your eternal fan Nadya Mirkova and all my big family, and all my friends from Sofia - Bulgaria - Europe and all World !!!
I was so anticipating the 2nd Movement! I believe the 2nd Movement of the C Minor Piano Concerto is what can separate the very good pianist from the great!
I dont think the engineers who filmed and recorded this concert were musicians. They only show 2 cameras and both are so far away from the artists. And also the sound is like from someone cell phone recording from the audience.
How could one of the greatest... if not the greatest interpreters of Rachmaninoff have been recorded so poorly? Heads should roll! This is the 21 century. Is it not?
5:28 What's up with Trifonov using the una corda all through this fff section, and in the recap at 6:41 it looks like he's going helter-skelter on the damper. Rubinstein used the una corda judiciously and was a master of the damper. I think Trifonov is using the pedals for balance rather than applying them to the music. Of course I can only be truly justified in criticizing his playing when I'm winning the Tchaikovsky competition alongside of him. Until then... :-(
Trifonov is really the best performing Rachmaninoff
Trifonov should definetely perform this Concerto again
Sound quality should be better
👍👍👍
I agree.
One movement is enough. It is the most comforting song to the sad person .. The deep sadness of Rachmaninov is felt ..
Music beauty, Rachmaninov is simply all good. Daniel Trifonov is a piano genius.
More than Genius. The best in World right now along with KIssin and Yuja.
👍👍👏👏👏💕
Daniil makes this piece shimmer and glow
Truly

Thank you NKMedtner for this upload. I'm still hoping for the complete concerto DVD.
I can't get enough of Daniil, he is so amazing!
the orchestra is in mono but the audience is in stereo, something went wrong in post LOL. glad to have this though.
Daniil Trifonov, one of the best pianists of the century, if not the best....
👍👍👍👏👏👏👏BRAVO !!!
Yes indeed after Yuja Wang and Lang Lang....
Tan agradable que es oír tocar a Trifonov, toda la música ejecutada por él se escucha más bella. Lástima que el sonido de la grabación no es bueno.
Totalment de acuerdo
É um belo Concerto❗️
Daniil está Magnífico‼️

Well he is a great so you dont even need to listen to the second movement just look at more Trifonov and you will be satisfied.
Trifonov is the best
C'est tout simplement prodigieux !
Excelente intérprete, un concierto maravilloso
Terrible camera work. Sound quality really not there either. The orchestra and the soloist deserved better.
And thank you whoever with the cell phone interruption
It's in time tho :D
Awesome, thank you 🙏

Si, dovrebbe trattarsi di una ripresa amatoriale. Infatti non c'è nessun microfono sul palco per gli strumenti.
Exactly
The person who recorded butchered the performances
Trifonov is a master but unfortunately this is not a well balanced recording and leaves a lot to be desired.
Undisputed genius.
Lovely BUT the camera work is nothing to praise.

Записывали на Nokia 3310?
А запись получилась довольно хорошая. Жаль, ято мало
Nadie interpreta el rash 2 como trifonov es deslumbrante

J J Townley Sometime-composer of Piano Concertos Yeah I hate that attitude. You don't need to be a concert pianist to criticize a concert pianist..
The orchestra is too loud right out of the gate. I don't care for the conductor at all.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💕
Wiener Konzerthaus and Trifonov
👏👏👏😍
Tempo molto piu lento.
This is the Wiener Symphoniker and not the Wiener Philharmoniker as stated!
he didn't heed Richter's fff
