DIY A Beautiful Sentimental Family Keepsake Shadowbox

A friend brought me some of her families sentimental keepsakes from her Grandparents, Great Grandfather and Uncle and asked me to make a shadowbox with them.
The items were amazing. There were old school books, photos, handwritten notes, a letter opener, Constable badges and more. I had so much fun looking through the items trying to decide what to use.
I used an 11x14 shadowbox I purchased from Michaels. They come in a 2 pack and run about $30. The background papers are pieces I have collected over the years so I don't know where they can be purchased.

Hello! This so well done and the fact that fit everything in there is amazing.
What is it that you’re using to secure the items such as pictures. I’m trying to make a small one from my wedding but not sure what to use to secure the picture.

Hello, thank you for watching. I use different ways to secure the items. Foam tape if I need to add dimension, tape runners, hot glue.

Is there glass covering this? So dust/dirt don't get on the items?

I believe I used the glass on this one. Depending on how deep the shadowbox ends up determines whether I can use the glass or not. I usually end up not being able to use the glass on my bridal shadowboxes because of the florals I attach.
