From Australia: My mother has always added sliced chilli to the oil (canola/peanut oil mixed) to make chicken schnitzel. She flours, eggs without milk, crumbs with an Australian small to medium sized crumb mixed (tip top crumbies brand), and shallow fries. She uses chicken breast that’s trimmed and then sliced into thin, flat, spear / diamond shaped tenderloin sized pieces (maybe4-6 per breast) or just uses tenderloins, halved or tripled. The best bits, are the one which are nice and thin, and triangular, so that you get lots of yummy crumbing/breading to chicken ratio.. especially as it’s cooked in canola/peanut oil which is obviously healthy as far as frying goes. Love my mum!

I love gizzards and chicken hearts. We breaded and fried them them put them in a 9 x 13 pan with a steamer insert with a little water in the bottom. Cover tightly with foil and put in 350° oven for an hour or so until tender.
Oh yeah Gina these are my absolute favorite. I make them sometimes just for a snack with hot mayo and a good movie, have a couple of recipe cooked up on gizzards. Nothing better and you nailed it! Thanks so much for sharing your recipe and My God continue to bless you and your family!💜

My grandmother on my father's side fried chicken gizzards and made them with gravy over 🍚 rice.My mother and I loved chicken livers and gravy over 🍚 rice.We made our gravy sometimes out of cream of 🍄 mushrooms soup or cream of 🐔 chicken soup or cream of celery.

You can also marinate them in a little buttermilk, refrigerate them for a few hours or overnight. A great natural tenderizer.
