I grow up on South side of Chicago and they had restaurant that had fried gizzards, we would buy them with mild sauce and fries, talking about something so good...you just took me back to my childhood😀

I love gizzards and chicken hearts. We breaded and fried them them put them in a 9 x 13 pan with a steamer insert with a little water in the bottom. Cover tightly with foil and put in 350° oven for an hour or so until tender.

You can also marinate them in a little buttermilk, refrigerate them for a few hours or overnight. A great natural tenderizer.
