PaperGen's outline feature has been particularly helpful. It lays out ideas in a logical order, making the writing flow smoother. I find myself spending less time staring at a blank page and more time actually putting words down. It's like having a writing partner that does the heavy lifting of structuring.

Interesting tool, looking forward to tinkering with it.
    Some words of advice:
    - the more AI that you use for your prose(actual book content), the attention you may need for content editing(e.g., fact checking, etc). AI will still provide false/inaccurate data.
    - you can accomplish most of what Dibbly appears to do with free AI tools, but as Sean mentions, it will take you more time.
    - do what Sean mentioned about putting YOU(your unique influence/touch) into the book. ESPECIALLY if you have a defined customer avatar and unique value proposition. It can help set you apart and help in building a brand. Otherwise AI books tend to be boring.

Thanks Sean for sharing, this is amazing indeed. Just one note: If you do include sources, this might consume up to 400.000 tokens and thus, after 3-4 chapters you might have burned through the 20 USD description. So including sources for non-fiction does cost around like 3-4 USD per chapter.

Key point for me. Thanks in advance.

I'd be too afraid to use AI to write something that I don't normally dwell in and sell it on Amazon. I write my own short scary stories and novels and if I used AI to write some other topics just to make money then I'm putting what I love to do at risk of losing my credibility and accounts, especially on amazon. Since Amazon only allows you to have one account it's too risky. People need to take that into consideration if they use their amazon account for anything else.

"30,000 words, which is gonna be about 150 pages..."
    Eh, I wish!
I'm a writer (yeah, one of the people whose livelihoods are being destroyed by this technology and the people who promote it), and I can assure you that 30,000 words is only 50-60 pages in an actual book. An average novel is about 300-350 pages, so 30,000 words is roughly one fifth (or less) of an average book. Obviously there are no hard and fast rules about this, but no self-respecting writer (a real writer, that is) would dream of submitting a book for publication with fewer than 80,000 words. And if they did, it would almost certainly be rejected.
PS - Please desist from describing what you are doing here as "writing a book". You may be creating, producing, or generating a book, but you are certainly not writing a book.

Sean, I have an off-topic question, but perhaps one you could use for the backbone of a future video. Your story of selling your initial KDP account is what made me curious. The question pertains to how you're able to start a new account when you sold your account to someone else? I hear that Amazon is pretty strict about not granting new accounts to people. I'm assuming that, as part of the buying/selling process, Amazon has a methodology to shift the account to another person and grant you a new one in this particular instance, but I just haven't heard anything concrete about it. Are you granted a new account when you sell one? For the person who bought your old account, does all your content go to their account, or do they take ownership of your old one? I'm just curious about how that process works out concerning Amazon's rigid stance on only granting a single account to a single person. Anyway - that's the question. Love your videos, Sean! Inspirational stuff and I'm happy to see your channel growing. ~Ben
PS: I'm a fellow digital nomad, living 6 months a year on a sailboat with my family. Coming at you from Exuma, Bahamas via Starlink. We fund our travels via a RUclips channel, but I won't post it here. Looking to add a new income stream via self-publishing. 6 books in process. 2 are uploaded awaiting final approval from "The Zon" with 4 more in the hopper. I'm dead-set on making this stuff work. Truth-be-told, I'm currently enrolled in another similarly priced course as what you offer, but I wish I had known about your's before my entry fee was locked in.

For example, the comment from cosmic pen about, "generate the outline, saving the outline to notes and from there generating the book from the outline." Having said that, the most disturbing part for me was your advice to use the reference creating from kip. I did see it claims to use 150k tokens. So creating 10 chapters are you suggest, would use up 1.5 million tokens. And this does not include any content. As far as I can see, there is no need for these references and the creator already included them. Its almost as if you were advising users to burn through their tokens very quickly, with little gain. Meaning more money for DC?

Sean, I got Dibbly and I have questions, because I can't really find the answers. Once on dibbly can you save the article and then go back to continue on your book making additional chapters? It's a wonderful idea.

Great mini tutorial video! Regarding Tokens, am I understanding this right? Based on Sean's 10 Chapter example with each Chapter costing on average 250,000 tokens, would approximately 3,000,000 tokens be required for the total e-book creation (Amazon Searches, Title Generator, Outline Generator, plus 10 Chapters and exporting)?

I find it pretty amazing that AI can write a complete book for you. I've seen instructions on how to publish using KDP and one of the questions it asks is, "Did you use AI to write your manuscript?" I'm assuming that you have to say YES. However, if you tweek the contents and make it your own style, do you still have to say that AI wrote the work?

    • @honolulublues5548
      @honolulublues5548 5 месяцев назад +1

The statement in KDP is asking if it was used to help write the book. I would say you still have to disclose it in case Amazon detects any part of it.
