I am using ChatGPT to help with translations to another language of my non fiction book. I told it I would upload each chapter by paragraph. I told ChatGPT to remove American idioms when appropriate. I cannot read the translated language so I forwarded to several friends in the target country asking them for input. I asked if the translated version was understandable (they have my English version as well). Each one reported the ChatGpt translated version was perfect. I should proceed. I specifically told ChatGPT to remember my writing style and only translate my text changing American idioms to words or terms that are interpreted accurately. It’s working so far. I view Ai as a tool to help me build a project vs. building a project on it own. Similar to a traditional claw hammer to build a structure. Using a power nailer helps the builder build better and more efficient. Also, I use Grammerly Ai which is awesome.

I've been making novel through gpt and it's been a while now. In my opinion the best way and the easiest way to make novel is making a short story and told them to copy other people writing style. I like to told them to use nisiosin writing style coz IMO this is the best writing style for gpt.

Another super helpful video Sean. Can I recommend one thing? Perhaps instead of asking chatGPT to write anything like structured sentences and paragraphs, which I believe is more likely to result in a book that appears plagiarized, limit chatGPT to providing bullet key point summaries of what it might include in each subsection. Then, the book's author has a detailed guide regarding key points to hit, but because they're actually writing themselves, editing will be much easier and less likely to result in plagiarism.

Really having my doubts Sean. Amazon ads are killer and I don't want to have to pay someone thousands of dollars I don't even have to tell me how to do this "correctly". Now I'm wondering if FBA is better because the margins are better and I don't have to work as hard to make these books. How much money do I need to spend just to sell one book. Its not clear this is the right approach

You talked about writing for example 1250 words for a chapter etc. however, would that value change once you do the final edit? Does it matter if the book at the end of all you edits or more or less than 30,000 words. I'm kind of wondering that you are just using the number 1250 for ai so you don't get a too length or too short of a manuscript to copy and edit? Is that right. And thank you again for your generosity in teaching all of us these great skills. Flower.
