Awesome videos, mate. Built an XA ute many years ago, still got an XB sedan. Not much video content on these old girls, so the more details the better. Great stuff, keep it up.
I was thinking this each time i did it, but thought "ill get it when i go to get a coffee or have a break" then i'd go get a coffee, have a break, start drilling again and remember i was meant to get some cutting fluid! Have only myself to blame for blunted bits lol
Always good to see an Aus build I’m doing a xb and at the same point pretty much It’s interesting to see the changes that I’ve been thinking about I was going to get Willwood on it , but I’ve heard some stories
I think the only issues with wilwoods arise when using old factory componants within the braking system, standard falcon master cylinders ect. Super common conversion so if there are any issues there's more than enough info out there to trouble shoot!
Great video, very helpful as I'm installing Wilwoods on my XA.. Cheers Flinty

Good vid👍👌im enjoying the progress on the ute
Thanks mate glad to hear!
Try using Trefolex cutting fluid on your drill bits. They will last last longer and cut easier. Nice work.

What size sheet metal are you using ? .90mm aka 1mm
Yep 1mm steel, have a massive sheet from an old project so im just going through that until its gone
@@MattyWillo thank you ..what size discs are you using 280mm cause of the 12slotters
@@302esky The 320mm rotors, they only just clear the 14" slotters without the calipers on, with the calipers on, gotta go 15's or bigger!
@@MattyWillo thank you
