Hi! A very timely video, as is very often with all of Lydia's content. I've been recently rewatching her older videos on styling different types of jeans, and now comes this UPD 👍 Interestingly enough, the basic idea stays pretty much the same (dress your jeans up if you want with nice shoes / a button down / a structured blazer), but the newer version definitely has a modern twist to it with those greys, those bombers, pointed- toe flats and collarless jackets. Which just proves what an amazing feel for timeless fashion Lydia has and how she always manages to incorporate workable trends into her outfits 👍👍👍
I love watching your videos -- even at my age (early 60s) only just now getting more interested in fashion. Man, I wish I was younger! Would love to wear some of the things you wear but no longer have the slim body (sigh!). Still, I do get inspiration and thanks so much for that!

Also, I love the high waist, wide leg jeans! If you have muffin top in low rise jeans, this style is the remedy. The high waist holds in the tummy.

Nice jeans the pale blue and pale grey are lovely on especially with the flat heel. I like the skinny mid grey too, great colour, I have them and they work well as you showed.

Yes, grey is so in. I recently visited Ralph Lauren's flagship store in Manhattan, NYC and as you walk into this lovely boutique, he is showing many beautiful pieces in different shades of grey. I purchased a grey blazer and trouser last year and I love it that I can style it in many different ways. I also have a washed out grey denim from last year. I recently purchased a charcoal grey cashmere cardigan, so I guess I really like grey. In fact, Lydia, could you do a video on how to style grey this year? All the jeans you presented were wonderful and fit you so perfect. I would also like to see a video on how to style jeans with loafers and ankle boots. Thanks for your styling inspiration.

Great inspirations! But I would like to k ow what are your suggestions for petit sized women. Short cut jeans are rarely fitting in length for short women. In this case what other shoes can work for these styles besides baler flat shoes.

These jeans fit you perfectly I must say. I would love to have one of them. I also agree with you about the grey colour being a high trend, fancying to pair it with light yellow. I love both of grey pairs of jeans you show, though I am looking for a grey colour not too dark, not too light😅 just a real grey beautifully washed if I can say so.

Luckily I only wear gray to avoid having dog hair be too noticeable on my clothes. Thanks to a shedding husky I’m going to be more fashionable this year.

Lydia is wonderful as always, but I am so tired of jeans. They are everywhere. I prefer a maxi straight jean skirt or any maxi straight, skirt, not A-line. I am size medium US in the skirts.

Everyone is just falling for the hype of these no shape, wide leg high waist jeans! They don't look nice on most women, they make you look fatter, and the back makes your butt look like it's an extra long rectangle… Awful!
