Actually with those "top up" card you can use it to any type of transportation in jakarta even to pay toll road, parking and shopping. Or you can use payment apps like OVO, Gopay or Link to enter the MRT station, top up your card, pay at restaurant, street food vendor, online shop, taxi, etc.
