Wow! What a nice classic motorcycle, I didn't know that Kawasaki made a KZ400 all decked out like that from the factory. Thanks for sharing the video, you guys do great things for the motorcycle community.
I'd say priceless.......beautiful, love it. Thanks for your appreciation. I would love to see it utilized to it's fullest, but then again it' probably should be in a museum? What do ya think? This is exactly the kind of bike I would love given my lack of riding experience, small stature, interest in commuting and touring and southwest residence.
Totally understand, is a 1year production 1977, all assembled in Lincoln Nebraska at the Kawasaki factory. I own one of these jewels, and I’m the second owner,
Nice video never seen or heard of this model before , did have a 440 though . Had my Z750 L1 stolen decades ago , my hatred for bike thieves is still as strong , i never saw it again.
When I went for my motorcycle license in spring of '78, a guy borrowed one of these from the local Kawasaki dealer. He obviously had never been on a motorcycle that much, he did the throttle locked wide open deal. He almost ran the instructor over and crashed right in front of me & my Dad. He did not get his license that day !
I had a 76. My buddy had a 74, and rode it to FL and back several times. Had over 50k miles on it before he upgraded. I only got to 13k before I crashed it
KZ 900 or 1000 has always been my favorite growing up they were everywhere and they still are in Indiana I think it’s an Indiana thing that or the old Honda 750s but those look great man outstanding💯💕💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 and the ZRX 1200R to me it’s the KZ on steroids you don’t play when it comes to picking up some nice ass whips that’s for sure those will make anybody a great bike they are the best for riding around town or out in the country lots of fun y’all have a good one keep that shiny up in that dirty down pimp💯💪🏾💪🏾💕👍🏾👍🏾🔥🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾

Lovely bike to ride no vices and smooth with counter rotating balancer weights however they had trouble maintaining oil tightness around the cylinders and head area also to balance the carbs even with the factory tool was a real bitch of a job, I love them and even with their problems would own one without reservation.
Wow. I was 17, sold my car and bought that bike brand new from a dealership in Union City, NJ. I'm 64 now. Good memories. Thank you!
