The 2 pt attempt felt awkward. I think Play action or instead of having both the Qb and Rb have the ball in each other’s hand, I feel like a different way could’ve been better. Before anyone says that was the play call having both players hold the ball could’ve been a great way to bait the defense, I know that I’m just saying.

Malik Davis looked really good in this one. They should use him more often. 9.6 yards per attempt against Alabama's defense is INSANE. Seems like he's never really had a shot but I love how he breaks so many tackles and simply refuses to go down. He doesn't exactly have blazing speed, but he's certainly not a slow back either.
This turned out to be a helluva game. It's was mostly a grind out finish, but it was great to see UF's coaches and players figure out Bama's schemes on both sides of the ball and flip the game around. It was equally cool to watch these QBs settle down and make plays. Bama looked good on stopping UF on the 2-pt conversion and their last score.
Late? Bama dint score but 10 points in three quarters! Bama is not that superior- Gators had mistakes and still could have won! David average 8 yards a carry. Bama is weak against the run. Think about this- 5 stars against 4 and 3 stars and almost got beat! Go Gators!

I don't like either team, but being a former kicker (HS and college), my heart aches for the dude who missed the PAT. No kicker misses on purpose, so when it happens it just rips your heart out, because deep down EVERY kicker knows he's got ONE job - and that's to kick the football through the uprights when it's needed. Every kicker knows the other players work much, much harder. They risk life and limb getting their brains beat out. And all the kicker has to do is...KICK. You can be the HERO or you can be the ZERO. Before I start, let me just say that I am a Alabama fan. After 3 games, Young is not a Heisman worthy candidate. Alabama's chances of repeating is in danger. Their predicted great defense is suspect. I blame the DC for the defenses subpar play. The o-line was mediocre at best. It will be an interesting season for Bama.

The brief crowd reaction shot of the Tide fans’ realization that it wasn’t going to be the walkover that it was shaping up to be in the 1st quarter was a classic. I’m not a big sports fan, but I was at the 1977 Rose Bowl when Michigan State was heavily favored over USC and got shut down hard, losing 14 - 6 (IIRC). The silence from the MI State section was deafening.
Give Florida they deserve and put them up there with the teams that could compete and possibly beat alabama/georgia. Even though Bama had some key players out. Florida had there biggest playmaker out that game. They could easily/probably will win every game or lose 1 game the rest of the season.
I like your style man competent and not an insecure Bama fan. It's ok to say what you said it is no slight on Bama and your team won. I appreciate your football knowledge and can tell you watch football games. Also UF was missing a LB arguably their best tackler too. A lot of issues or mistakes on both sides and both good teams gave us a good game to watch.

TN lost to Bama 6-3 about 10 years ago. we were suppose to get blown out... prolly woulda been better to just get blown out. That being said, I do expect FL to trounce UT this next week

Saban learned from playing Clemson that a not-so-obvious pick play won't get called in the modern era. That second touchdown should have been called back, and the Tide would've scored anyways. But still, run those pick routes, and you'll trip up defenders all day.

Gotta believe he was livid, thinking Florida has got to have something better drawn up within the goal line package vs dang-on Alabama in a 2 point game. To be fair to the OC, the read option had them rolling in the second half! Great game all around!!!

The 2 pt attempt felt awkward. I think Play action or instead of having both the Qb and Rb have the ball in each other’s hand, I feel like a different way could’ve been better. Before anyone says that was the play call having both players hold the ball could’ve been a great way to bait the defense, I know that I’m just saying.

It was an option but for some reason he held the ball, he was trying to suck them in but he should’ve pull it and ran since the defense crashed inside
He probably would have been in trouble had the qb kept the ball. Now if you gave it to the running back immediately I think he had a better hole and would have a better head esteem

Malik Davis looked really good in this one. They should use him more often. 9.6 yards per attempt against Alabama's defense is INSANE. Seems like he's never really had a shot but I love how he breaks so many tackles and simply refuses to go down. He doesn't exactly have blazing speed, but he's certainly not a slow back either.

This turned out to be a helluva game. It's was mostly a grind out finish, but it was great to see UF's coaches and players figure out Bama's schemes on both sides of the ball and flip the game around. It was equally cool to watch these QBs settle down and make plays. Bama looked good on stopping UF on the 2-pt conversion and their last score.
Alabama look like the superior team everyone has been hoping they are, but credit Florida for making a game out of it late

Jones's and the rest of the run game kept Bama honest which allowed Florida to stay in the game.

Alabama played their worst game since the championship against Clemson. Everyone seems to forget the 21-3 schlacking in the first quarter-as well Alabama has a bad game early in the season every year and then straightens out, just look at ole miss last year. Or even the SECCG game last year.

Emory was dog water with 0 TDs and 1 interception and that’s why Alabama dominated the first half. Had Florida came out and ran down their necks the whole game then this would be a different conversation, also if Richardson actually played their passing would’ve opened up bc everybody knows Florida has easily the most explosive offense when he’s in. Don’t get beside yourself and forget Alabama crawled out of that stadium after holding their breath those last few minutes. It’s been a while since anybody’s ever turned up in them like that. A missed field goal and 2 point conversion were the difference in this game and that’s saying a lot considering everybody’s claiming how godly Alabama was this year.

I don't like either team, but being a former kicker (HS and college), my heart aches for the dude who missed the PAT. No kicker misses on purpose, so when it happens it just rips your heart out, because deep down EVERY kicker knows he's got ONE job - and that's to kick the football through the uprights when it's needed. Every kicker knows the other players work much, much harder. They risk life and limb getting their brains beat out. And all the kicker has to do is...KICK. You can be the HERO or you can be the ZERO. Very little in between!

After 3 games, Young is not a Heisman worthy candidate. Alabama's chances of repeating is in danger. Their predicted great defense is suspect. I blame the DC for the defenses subpar play. The o-line was mediocre at best.
It will be an interesting season for Bama.

Bama fan here, great game, but when the announcer said Alabama survived the Gators, I lost it. We were up the entire game, like what does he mean, we got to 21-3 and we got complacent against a great team.
