great video great information I subscribed the no talking no music approach is the best I watch them all at 2X so thanks very much 2008 Nissan Armada owner
I have a 2007 and it has drum brakes on the back to. Looks like yours was removed? It may be the e-brake. I'm just trying to change lug bolts and all this is ridiculous lol.
Thank you for being sane, I saw another video and was curious how they did it, the nut took out the whole axle instead of taking off the rotor and caliper bracket. I have changed alot of wheel hubs but never took out the axle to do it.
Mister Williams, I just got under my 2014 Armada and it is impossible to get a basic 15mm socket on the hub bolts because the axle covers/interferes with it. You may have a different year or the rear may be different from the front. I am disappointed that I have to remove the axle, but it's only 6 bolts.
Great video! Very concise and explanatory, without the need for language. I'm about to have to do this on both rear hubs for my 2013 Armada. How long did it take in real-time?

Hey bud I just got an 04 Nissan Armada from the auction and I'm trying to find out why the back rear end seems to be clacking. What is the noise if the bearing is bad?
It could be the e-brake. They sometimes fall apart inside the rear drum-rotors and make a heck of a racket. Also, the Titans and Armadas are notorious for bad differentials. Pray it’s not that.
@@FastEddieQ Maybe I missed something when I took off the rear wheel on my 2004 Armada but I hardly had much room to get to the allen key bolt to take it off.
Hey! Where’s your e-brake assembly? Hahaha! I’m replacing the brakes on my Titan and am contemplating leaving mine off as well. Even when my Titan was new the e-beak couldn’t even hold the truck on a hill. Why bother...
I'm doing this next week to my 2014 AWD Armada (rear), what is making it so hard to remove? The axle splines? ...or something else? I need to know where to focus the forces I'm about to put on it to get it off. Thank you! Oh, and we don't need no thread locker here in the Northeast, rust will lock those babies in! haha - just kidding.
Wheel bearings are hard to remove because they are rusty, because of the salt and or heat generated by wheels. Apply PB Blaster or DW40 one or two days prior to removal, helps a lot…. Also, check amazon for wheel bearing removing tools that you can use with impact gun, will save you lots of time… good luck
@@thesnapper84 yep 145ft ain’t it for those four bolts. It’s 90ft With loctite. Anything more than that you will snap your bolt. Believe me, I took your torque specs and tried it.... broke a bolts. PSA: TAKE TORQUE SPECS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT FROM RANDOM PEOPLE. ALWAYS CHECK WITH THE DEALER
I see where the error came… (107) is the correct spec there….Here’s the Titan talk thread (which is mostly incorrect) but they do get it right in the end… www.titantalk.com/threads/anyone-know-the-front-wheel-hub-torque-specs-and-what-locktite-to-use.158897/
Remember I live on a state that during winter we use a lot of salt to clear roads, with that being said rust is unavoidable… unfortunately this is how we live in Wisconsin, but love my state!
Outstanding demo! Very easy to follow.
actions speak louder than words, great video. thanks brah

Much appreciated!

thank you, i found your video extremely helpful!
Glad it helped you, that’s the idea behind my videos…..
Thanks for the video. I have a question. I cannot get a socket behind there to loosen the four bolts. Any tips?
Great video. Ill be doing this in a couple days.

Sometimes you need to simplify the job to be more efficient 🤙

Good work
Great job just noticed your hat I'm on the paving crew
Right on
Did you ever have a problem with the rear suspension of the armada sagging?
Might also need a midsize extension
Great video! Very concise and explanatory, without the need for language. I'm about to have to do this on both rear hubs for my 2013 Armada. How long did it take in real-time?
Takes about 1 1/2 hrs
What happened to the parking brake? My 08 qx56 has a parking brake you have to work around when replacing the hub assembly.
Missing parking brake since I got it...
Would be nice to have description of what you're doing and the sizes of sockets/wrenches you used.
Much agreed. That's what I'm looking for.

Hey bud I just got an 04 Nissan Armada from the auction and I'm trying to find out why the back rear end seems to be clacking. What is the noise if the bearing is bad?
Check the rest of my videos, I have made a video where you will see and hear how a bad wheel bearing sounds like
It could be the e-brake. They sometimes fall apart inside the rear drum-rotors and make a heck of a racket. Also, the Titans and Armadas are notorious for bad differentials. Pray it’s not that.
Absolutely, if e-brake falls apart, it makes a lot of clacking noise
Nice
Great video thanks for the video just wondering what's the torque pressure you tighten that center nut ??
120 Foot pounds
Axle nut
Try pushing axle in as much as you can
Could you use a 3 prong puller in place of a slide hammer?
JCMillner, yes you can, I don’t have one.
I use a C-clamp to squeeze the caliper before removing.
Bro... there is 1000 thousand ways of doing one thing, this is mine... thanks for watching....
What size is the bolt to remove the wheel bearing? please?
Hello Samuel, axle nut size is a 32 MM and is torqued to 120lbs
Just wondering where was the parking brake inside the disk?
it was already removed. Maybe he runs the parking brake only on the right rear. This video is the left rear being changed.
How much to do the job ?
I used your technique it comes in handy if you don't have a slide hammer
Yes it does👍
Outstanding job,but where are your rear parking shoes.?
I’m assuming you watch my other videos where I was doing rear parking brakes, right?
Emergency brake shoes where missing ever since I got the truck...
What size is the axle nut? thanks
Hi Bill, I’m out of town but I think I used a 1 1/4 socket,. 32MM was to big if I remember correctly, hope this help.
Any idea why my back tires would be slanted inward? Thank you.
You need an alignment done…
But again in some vehicles this is normal, try rotating tires at least every 6000 miles… this makes a difference on tire wear
Thank you so much. We'll try the alignment.
Can you get to the rear ABS sensor to replace it without taking out the whole hub?
Yes you can, tire off and you can replace abs sensor
Michael Lewis yes you can...
@@FastEddieQ Maybe I missed something when I took off the rear wheel on my 2004 Armada but I hardly had much room to get to the allen key bolt to take it off.
I used a 3/8 extension and a bit instead of Allen wrench
@@FastEddieQ Ok I will give that a shot

No internal parking brake shoes inside the rear rotor?
No, I assume previous owner removed them and never put them back...
But I have replaced them
Nut, bolt, socket sizes and torque specs would be nice to know.
100ft lbs
19mm
Socket size you should figure it out fairly simple
What's the tub of black stuff?
Can you be more specific? But if you are talking about the black film on the back plate then is primer to prevent rust
What's the torque spec for the big bolt? Lol I forgot the name of it
12Lbs
Sorry... 120 Lbs
Thanks!!
How much tork do you set on caliper bolt?
Front 32lbs, back 24 Lbs
Caliper tork
Thanks
Hey! Where’s your e-brake assembly?
Hahaha! I’m replacing the brakes on my Titan and am contemplating leaving mine off as well. Even when my Titan was new the e-beak couldn’t even hold the truck on a hill. Why bother...
Agree, e-brakes don’t do much on this vehicles
Yeah, 5,000 lbs of vehicle and those tiny brake pads are going to make a difference... crazy.

@@tony17112acst like I said rust caused by salt and moisture

How the actual f×ck are you getring to thouse bolt on the backside without removing the shaft? I cant seem to get to them 😅

Never had one since I bought it
Get rid of that air ride suspension. I replaced mine with regular shocks and springs when the air compressor failed and the airbags leaked
