Finally a 40A DC/DC charger has been released from you guys. I've been waiting for a while. And perfect timing as I'm updating my 12V system over Christmas. Moving from an AGM into Lithium and planning to put a control hub in the new setup. Are you going to release a control hub with the 40A DC/DC charger with it?

So what exactly is the blue ignition wire for. It wasn’t explained very well in the video.

G'day there darren, the blue ignition wire is for late model smart charging systems that basically reduce voltage & current pending on the start battery as vehicle manufacturers don't care about charging dual battery systems & therefore once the start battery is fully charged the computer that monitors the operation of the alternator will basically reduce the voltage to save fuel from the alternator putting load on the engine & cutting the voltage below 13.2 volts which is the cut in voltage for the dcdc charger
connecting the blue ignition wire to a powered source when the motor is running EG: fuel pump fuse will allow the charger to start charging at a lower voltage of 12.2 & outsmart the smart charging system by turning on at the lower voltage & also must have no power when motor is turned off
      Thanks for watching
      Cheers Craig
