Got the 2000w inverter, and it is fantastic. If in the future I get an additional (suitable) separate battery set up to power a 3000w inverter, can I set it up the same as I've done the 2000w inverter? i.e. is the electrician only needed for the 3000w inverter if it's getting hardwired to a caravan type set up? There's a video of me getting over excited after setting the inverter up on my RUclips channel, if you need any clarification to my question. Thanks!
Aww hell yeah fellas. What's the switchover time if AC input is dropped? If it's low enough, you should slip that module into a rack mount format. Bonus points if it's squeezed into a soho/comms half width rack mount. Or even just some din rail mounts for it. This unit would be great for small scale edge node industrial ups work. Flip to dc input when ac drops. Auto flip back when ac comes back on.
G'day Bobcatman, sorry to hear the inverter blew up after 4 years i hope you got heaps of great use out of it,you will love the new model & appreciate you purchasing a new unit thanks for watching Cheers Craig
My eyes didnt trick me eh? You can put something that consumes 3000 watts right into the 240V power socket on the 3000 watt converter right? Just because on many other inverters you only have for example 1.5k watts per power socket amd anything that consumes 3000 watts on its own needs to be hard-wired onto the thing.
G'day mate, you will struggle running a appliance eg:3000 watts through a 3000 watt inverter as i suggest having at least 250 watts of headroom above what your appliance use's so for a 3000 watt appliance i would recommend a larger inverter eg:3500watt or larger inverter Thanks for watching Cheers Craig
Craig and Adam the Kickass dream team !
Any chance of making a 12-24v version? I feel like 12v really puts a lot of load on the wires for high application things and 24v would make it better
G'day Sam thanks for watching, only 12volt input mate
@@KickAssProducts no probs, maybe the next one you guys make :)
