What a fantastic idea Graham,I love hot cross buns and most of all I love bread and butter pudding,my mum made it loads of times and like you say she never had a written recipe just handed down from her mum,it was always made in the enamelled ashet and it was delicious,we were at a Chinese Buffet place today,we go every couple of months and they have lovely desserts and cakes but best of all they do bread pudding and so tasty especially with custard poured over it,another really enjoyable video 👌👋👋👋👋
Hi Richard, I remember that video. It seems a while ago now. We made to many hot cross buns and just thought let’s make a pudding, your right it was tasty. We’ve not had a Chinese buffet for some time but I used to love all the desserts. I love custard mate, I’m pining for a traditional home made egg custard. That’s a good video. I made them some for a family party and had to put flags with names because everyone wanted egg custard like Grandmas.

Hi Rosemary. I’ve not had one for years, my mum would have used full cream milk and you would get that burnt skin on the top with nutmeg in eat. Ho dear I’m craving again 😂😂😂 I bet you are to. @@rosemarygriffin2184 Hi Rosemary, I used to work in really noisy conditions and my hearing has suffered for it. That makes the noise even worse. When all our family is all together I can’t really hear anyone just noise. Our kitchen noise is to much really everything is so noisy. I guess we just have to put up with it, I love to be outside with only natural sounds when we get the chance. I want to sit by the river with a cup of tea. Simple but lovely ❤️😘🥰😍😘👍
@@grahamgetsabout2672 you can't beat the simpler things in life, I love peace and quiet, just listening to the birds singing is beautiful. Like you both Ena and myself worked in a very noisy place. We worked at an electrical manufacturing company. We both worked in the machine shop, operating drilling and tapping machines. My machine was right next to the shop next door, which had massive presses in it, thumping away all day. Even though the operators wore protective ear coverings, most of them went tone deaf later in life. The machines were massive and used to press out steal casings for massive industrial fuse boxes, used in hospitals etc. Even the floor used to vibrate where I sat, every time the press would come down, to press out another box. It has left me with tinnitus. Mind you I used to get board very quick, and when they offered people a £200 Christmas bonus, if they would work anywhere in the factory, when short staffed, my friend and I took up the opportunity, I've done hand press work, hydraulic press work, sub assembly, spot welding, worked on the track, loaded paint conveyors the lot. I loved it. There wasn't much I didn't do, and it was piece work which I enjoyed and could always earn my money. I'd get pulled off some jobs for working too fast, as it would spoil it for others who couldn't go so fast. You may have heard of the company it was the, Midland electrical manufacturing company. Sadly it no longer exists today, happy days though 😊 and fun time's,👍

Graham it's one thing I'm not keen on is bread and butter pudding. John likes it, I made him one a while ago with a brioche loaf from Aldi. He enjoyed it. Anyway yours looked very nice

Hi paul, I just put one in each bucket. They were rubbish last year but I think everyone had the same problem, it was so dry. We’ve only got a small garden so you can move them about. 👋👋👍

Hi Graham and Wendy, I hope you're having a happy Easter weekend, the pork cutlets looked really nice and tasty and now I've just watched this hot cross bun and butter pudding that also looks delicious and very tempting. Not quite sure how to put this Graham but there's a problem with your Amazon wishlist. I have been having another look at what is on it but am not able to purchase anything as it tells me that things from Amazon marketplace cannot be sent to a gift registry address (to you). I was quite surprised by this as I didn't know until I tried to pay for it and the only available that came up were mine and Rosemary's. Can you have a look through Amazon and perhaps find alternatives that are of the same quality but from Amazon and not marketplace please? Also for your subscriber who wasn't able to access your wishlist ask them if the text is blue or black, if it's black it won't work but it will if it's blue. Hi Graham after having another look at products I think that the problem is that they aren't saying that it's a markeplace item. It not sold by Amazon only dispatched by Amazon on behalf of the seller. When you look again see if you can find items that tell you "sold by Amazon" . Hi Ena, we can’t make any sense out of this, I though it must be dispatched by Amazon so that’s why I picked that oil sprayer. I did read Amazon have had problems with outside sellers, so it could be a combination of things. Don’t worry about it that’s the last thing we want. Hi Graham, I don't know how to send you a link to anything as I only have my phone, I don't own a computer or a laptop. May I suggest that you go back over the products you have had on your list and see if any were sold by Amazon or fullfilled by Amazon or just dispatched by Amazon please. The only other thing I can think of is going to the post office and renting a point box so that people can send things that way, but we're not ready for that yet as I want you to keep adding things to your list and we'll see if we can get this worked out 😃😃❤❤
