Hi kieran did you manage to get to hebden bridge? If you love Todmorden hebden is lovely too' remember telling you ex warrington lad' lived near Middleton gladly moved away did that canal route a lot of times lovely and scenic some of the rochdale bits a bit iffy but a good ride' look forward to the next one 👍
"It's like the seaside but on top of the Pennines" Ha ha, nice one Kieran. Another fact filled, very enjoyable video. Good work. here's to your next adventure.
Just discovered you Kieran, and Im loving your witty well filmed videos, I took the train up to Todmorden last year then came back down to Manchester on my bike. But I was surprised you didnt mention the castle railway bridge or the great wall of Toddy
A most enjoyable bimble, great fun for this armchair cyclist. I'll cast another vote for Hebden Bridge, lots to see and do there, well worth a visit. And Todmorden! How can you feature Todmorden and fail to mention the 1980 UFO mystery? 🛸👽 Cheers 👍🏼
Next two bike rides Littleborough to Marsden via Sowerby bridge 40 miles, then Macclesfield to Whaley Bridge a mere 17 miles then back by train to Penketh two lovely days out.
Enjoyed that we have been doing various canals as part of gravel biking with a bit of history we plan to catch train to Manchester cycle the Rochdale and Huddersfield canals as a loop with an overnight somewhere near Todmorden.
Just watched a few more of your videos very interesting you are doing similar routes that we have covered except you make a nice video and provide some really interesting facts. This year we did Leeds Liverpool canal, Lancaster canal with Glasson loop, and the full Kendal to Preston bit and we did the coastal route Lancaster to Lytham which in the sun was very enjoyable with the knot End ferry crossing. Anyway keep up good work we might bump into you one of these days. Also it would be great if you put a gpx link or Komoot link in with your videos as this would encourage others to ride them.
Cracking bimble kieran ..so many memories from that mate...weve walked the whole canal from castlefield through to sowerby bridge.....you did a great job there ...keep up the great work ..frank & lee...
Excellent Kieran. Love your wit. That hate southerners line after the pacifist speech was pure class. Put me in a good mood as i set out to hospital to get my lung biopsy results. Peace -love-and bimblism☕🚲
I do love a cycle ride down the canal, the wildlife, the peace & quiet, the joy it brings fills me with happiness...Have you thought of an ass saver on the bike to stop water flying up & hitting you .....Great footwear choice, I bet even Emelda Marcos had a pair of those , along with her Adidas Samba, she probably wore them to raves in the 90's, ..WA4 Massive lid !!!!!!!!!
Great vid Heyup lad crossing into yorky! Jokes aside I was going to suggest to improve the subscription rate venture into Yorkshire cheers n beers Marty Australia
Once you get out of the town the canal is beautiful with beautiful scenery a pleasure to cruise on however in the town is a different story. I was threatened with my life by the way of shooting and arson by a very unruly person who didn't like the fact that I was cutting what seemed to be a sleeping bag out of my propeller and discarding it on the towpath for the time being until I could get to the towpath and move it. He then called the police on me and said I threatened him with the knife I was using. Obviously, I informed the police it was the other way around the immediately turned round and went to look for him.... The canal is a dumping ground for the houses that back onto it... Most of the lock gates have padlocks on them due to vandalism, one of the locks had its own dedicated CCTV camera which did not deter the teenagers from selling weed directly underneath it.... I will never go up the Rochdale canal again on my narrow boat I spent more time detangling carrier bags nappies sleeping bags and dodging shopping trolleys than actually cruising...... Nice video though👍

This is wonderful Kieran 😊
My idea of heaven, cycling along a waterway with blue sky. Could only be improved by shorts weather and a beer garden.
Now that was a tidy little bimble old chap, thanks
Cheers Pat :)

Love watching your videos. I'm gonna get 9n my bike soon haven't been able to use it due to not feeling safe.
Plenty of cycle paths with no roads. Prestatyn to colwyn bay is perfect for that.

Sounds great :)

I keep loosing the clip on mudguards. Unfortunatly they muck up my ending shots for the videos so it will just have to muck up my arse instead. Ha :)

Another good bimble, cheers buddy.
Get together and hate the southerners? I’m one of those southerners who moved to Lancashire last year 😮
😂🤣
@@rachelanne9486 it's all in the name of fun and silliness :)
But what does that mean for any potential endorsement/sponsorship deal with the three stripes?
I could bimble solely in Adidas Gazelles, If you'll pardon the pun.
