Apart from the busking, their cover of Bongo Bong is just perfection. Also Englishman in New York. Ren also did busking with Sam Tompkins. If you need a really fun time at any point, watch the song they wrote together called Blind Eyed, with the angry car park attendant. It's hilarious.

This is such a great band because they play each other up. They are all multitalented. REN and Romain have a very simpatico vibe. How lucky the people of Brighton were to have them.
The thing with the Big Push, is us older people can no longer say "there's no good music these days." There is absolutely good music now. I remember seeing Deep Purple and Rainbow with Ritchie Blackmore. I think these guys really know and appreciate their music history because they are smart, talented musicians and are not concerned about whatever pop bubblegum music is en vogue.
I am old. There is a lot of bad music out there nowadays. But there was always a lot of bad music. And I listen to a lot of nowadays music that is really great. Ren and the Big Push are at the top of the list.

They're such a talented bunch, and they swap roles in different songs, with each taking turns on lead vocals, lead guitar, bass. They are all very different but don't seem to compete with each other. Their mash ups are so much fun, and breathe a bit of life into the covers.

The Big Push is really something Special on its own and they all play multiple instruments. Ren plays some mean bass lines in many of their original and cover tunes! Ren surrounds himself with some incredible musicians and artists, including his collaborations, like Chinchilla, Sam Tompkins, Viktus, and Liv Sangster! I think of these mash-ups as part of Ren’s magnificent ADHD mind going all over like a crazy train! His original work has a dizzying number of genre-influences and change-ups between and within songs too! 😄❤
Yeah, I think Ren is so well versed in music and has such a good ear that he can combine all of these ideas and influences and those guys are the same. It makes for some great music! I know a lot of great musicians that can't do that. It's what makes these guys really stand out. I can't wait to watch other Big Push videos. They are FIRE!
