Upper hill is the Manhattan of Nairobi, and with a few iconic residences coming up, it will be one of the most valuable area codes in Africa.
Ummm No they wouldn't lol. Keep apples to apples, Nairobi should be compared to Buenos Aires or Medillin; frankly, both places are much more developed but at least at scale. NYC is on another planet from Nairobi. The hyperbole does no one any good.

@@ethekwini-os9tb I'm an Ethiopian millennial born and raised in Europe, and I've invested quite heavily in 1-3 bedroom properties across Nairobi, Kilimani, Kileleshwa, Parklands, and Upper Hill. I'm also diversifying by focusing on land acquisition in upcoming areas in Rwanda, Kigali, like Bugesera, close to the new airport. I'm not a real estate guy, just placing my disposable income where I think it will grow, and I would say that Cape Town in South Africa has the best and most sophisticated architecture in Africa, akin to what we are used to here in Norway, the UK, and North America. But I would never say that Johannesburg is in any way better than New York City, the epicenter of the world for the past 100 years and basically the equivalent of what Rome was during the Roman Empire.
To put things in perspective, New York City's economy alone, with a GDP of over $1.5 trillion, is larger than the combined GDP of South Africa, Kenya, Rwanda, and Nigeria.
Let's not be provincial in our mindset or push our insecurities to ridiculous levels or feel inferior because we are not yet on top of the world. I have no issue, as an Ethiopian with love for my country and plans to start investing there soon, acknowledging that we face multiple challenges at all levels of society, governance, and even the basics.
Let's be realistic, hardworking, and united across the continent, and start building little by little. In 50-80 years time we could potentially have surpassed some of the major cities in the western hemisphere. Rome wasn't built in a day

They have cameras since these are show rooms and require guarding but there will be no cameras in the house

Exquisite. However, one major minus is the lack of a laundry area. Having a washing machine in your bathroom cheapens everything. Where would you iron your clothes?

The penthouses must be insane 🥹
They have 4 presidential penthouses 350sqm each, which is bigger than most maisonettes. Each penthouse comes with a swimming pool. Then they have the Regal penthouse which is about 750 penthouse! Crazy, to say the least!

This is literally opp Loreto convent valley road and near the Israeli embassy, to put up a structure on that side you'd need to grab land from a school and an embassy. Even cartels know their limits. Now, the two of you, do you not have a healthy fear of heights? Some of these proposals... The heights...
Someone called me names here because I said nothing of this height will ever come up next to it. But the Israeli embassy moved to limuru road.
I don’t have any fear for heights, explains my love for penthouses and I hope to own the 750sqm Royal Penthouse in this building someday.

I'll be praying for y'all to have that dream come true. My fear of heights means such beauty is wasted on me. My legs loose feeling after 3rd floor, 4th floor and above I start shaking, now imagine someone like me trying to have coffee on that balcony 😂😂😂😂.
