The whole city is a construction site. Ethiopia is currently going through a major uprising.
For your information the inner city is Piasa to Arat Kilo but also under construction sites now.

Thank you for the video you have shown us today. If you go on other side of Bole to meskel squre road, the road is mostly better than road that you saw Bole to wello sefer today. The road that you see today or that you are surprised is a new construction road that is not completed yet, because you saw a lot of construction today. I hope when the road that you saw is completed, it can reach the other area in Addis Ababa. There are many areas that are mostly better than what you saw today in Addis Ababa. I hope you can visit again and enjoy with the other area in Addis Ababa next time or you can watch on Yutube which is updated latest.

Most of the construction done here is by Ethiopian contractors and Ethiopian workers. Not Chinese.
