  • This one is sure to ruffle some feathers so for some context, the 110 has a light fuel loading of only 60 percent vs 100 percent for the Mossie.
It also has the altitude advantage from the start point allowing the 110 to gain speed in a dive.
The mossie's are being escorted by 4x Typhoon MK1 and the 110 is being escorted by 4x 190A6
Next video will be a head to head with equal altitude and fuel loading. Enjoy.

Well that was boring. Mosquito is faster than the 110 so why would this even happen? Just disengage and leave the 110 for dust. It's a medium bomber not a fighter. What next? Boeing 747 Vs F16?

Been watching too many copy paste documentaries by the sound of it. The mossie isn't as fast as the documentaries have lead you to believe. The sim is full of pilots claiming its poorly modelled because of this fact.
They thought it can outrun anything at any time. Just open the throttle level out and away you go...... right?
      Wrong.

You can see in this video here, where the mossie is used in its traditional fighter bomber roll, it requires 1) an escort to be effective 2) on the deck in a low energy state axis fighters can easily catch it. 3) through clever use of tactics you can still engage fighters successfully and egress from the combat zone just as they did in WW2.
Doesn't mean the aircraft is some invincible UFO that nothing could touch like many documentaries make it sound like.

Give me a break! When the day comes a 110 beats up a mossie , is the day the world goes reversa!

The 410 is even better at collecting fire wood

In the real world, it was the bf-110 that was the prey in that sort of confrontation, not the other way round. It would also have been at night. In the day, the mossie always had the option of leaving the fight. Neither plane was a dog fighter, but least of all the 110.

In the real world the 110 had aces who took down multiple single seat single engine spitfires and lived to tell the tale. Let alone twin engine fighter bombers.

Sorry but not realistic or born out by actual confrontations. Yes Mossies were shot down by Me110 but this makes it look like they were totally mismatched and the Me110 was a superior aircraft.
