At the age of 5, in his native Mexico, he learned to play the violin. At 8, he developed a lifelong love for the guitar. At 14, he honed those guitar virtuoso skills and his performance style by working as a street musician, starting his own band long after, while still a teenager. And at 22 - just before his first album was released to acclaim - Carlos Santana became one of the major discoveries of Woodstock, anchoring the famous festival’s second afternoon on August 16, 1969.

When I was working in a hotel and restaurant in Rochester, NY in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, I got to take a sandwich up to the room where Carlos Santana was staying. He opened the door and was wearing rainbow toe socks! It was a perfect reflection of the times. He could not have been nicer and I will always remember it.
Saw this yesterday in Holland, it was Magic! Left a few tears of pride of how and what Carlos became. The greatest street musician❤

Been one time to a concert from Santana maybe 35 years ago. First Bob Dylan. I came for him. But after that Carlos Santana. Found the concert from Carlos Santana better than Bob Dylan. I became from that moment a big fan from him.

I’ve always loved his music. I watched an AXS TV interview with him and it was phenomenal. He’s a deep thinker and so in tune with himself and the world.

Didn't give much of the plot away.
I love his playing but this seems like a hokey idol worship kind of film when i'd rather see a more serious documentary without all the flash and glitz.
Ok… reality shot. This could be a great movie. But rated R? Movie people, FIX THAT. This should be pg-13 so everyone has the freedom to see the story and hear the music. If you go to one of his concerts, you don’t get R rated material. So fix it so everyone can see it.
