This will be the first WWE game I've bought since WWE 2K19. It's nice to see the small details they've added, it shows they care about the product.
Its supperrr worth it! they added back the things that we lost!

More like since the last SvR. Wwe12 was the game that implemented a new engine that ruined a decade of wrestling games
@@TonyDanza4Lyfe 12 was ok, but 13 and 2k14 were great games, sure they reused assets and the engine but the modes were amazing in these games.

I can't wait to play it tonight. Put in over 300 hours plus on 2K22 and 2K23. I'm sure I'll love this version too.

From what I seen universe mode is pretty much the same with like a couple more cut scenes

@@jld5721Essentially not. It crashes immediately and it’s unlikely it’ll be fixed during 2K24’s lifespan.
The special guest referee brings back memories to me. I like playing as the special guest and interfere the match haha
My faction this year apparently has some characters you unlock can be used in different game modes, so there trying to get you to play it so you can unlock classic and current costume options.
Also read they have Sheamus old theme

2K also announced a locker code for action figure John Cena THAT CAN BE BROUGHT ACROSS ALL MODES... Hopefully this is the standard for all MyFaction exclusive unlocks going forward... But hey, we at least can have a fig war between Cody and Cena, right?

Also one feature I do wish they'd bring back is the ability to add your own music and videos for the entrance, especially for PC, but I remember this was available on one of the old PS games, add your music to your files and select it in game as your characters entrance, makes it a lot better for when you're downloading AEW characters 😂

Copyrights issues. Now more than ever, company, artists and media understand their worth so everything will be copyright to prevent free stuff.
Unfortunately the share feature on ps5 and Xbox has made that super difficult

This truly is awesome man amazing I think it’s for sure the best one since 2k14 but for me personally I think it’s the best one right now with 2k14 really close
This should be the last year of showcase matches, bc at this point we've had all of the same showcase matches the every game over the last 10 years. So put that on pause for a few years. Then for 2K25 bring back road to wrestlemania, have Aj Lee as a DLC, bring back the "I Quit" match type, update all commentary & give us the option to choose commentators, and give us everything else from 2K24 and 2K25 will be absolutely 🔥🔥🔥.
And bring back the option to upload your own entrance music!

Dude, Im not too experienced on how uploading videos work on here, but if you can choose where your ad breaks are you either timed that perfectly or it's pure coincidence, my first ad break occured during the creations segment of the video and I swear it crashed as if i was playing 2K. If you play WWE 2K and experience the horrors of crashing either at the Community Creations menu or when working on a superstar then you know it almost always occurs so rapidly and randomly as quickly as the ad break interrupted the video. Fucking awesome
Is there a big change between ps4 gameplay and ps5? I remember 2k22 was the same but i dont know if this time it’s a real next gen game or not
It's the same game with the same graphics, they will milk casuals of everything they got

This might be the first wrestling game I've bought in 30 years. Looking forward to playing.
Some are saying this is the best in a long time. I really wanna get the wrestlemania edition.
With all this "end your story/ change your story" marketing, they really missed the best time to bring back Create a story. Imagine downloading infinite stories from others and including them in your universe mode when possible.
I shall see it when I pick it up on Friday. A weekend of playing awaits.

After fire pro wrestling world's amazing Creation suite including the craft ability which lets you craft limbs and super moves and all sorts of things I don't think I'll ever see a better wrestling Creator suite

Universe mode gonna get that abandoned child treatment until they fix it and brand the changes as " new " or " improved "
Compare it to wwe 12 universe mode and you will see that wwe 12 universe has more cutscenes with actual changes happening without you having to micro manage everything.

I do wonder one thing, should I be able to download it for PS5 already if I've got it pre-ordered Digital Deluxe? Also... God, the WWE2K-niverse is clearly persistent. That was definitely Justine in there, the greatest combination of Lita and Molly to ever coexist with Lita and Molly... Just so long as they keep pretending 2K20 never existed by never reintroducing Brooklyn (well they did in 2K22, but I pretended she didn't exist after that).

So how’s the game
Regarding Universe mode. Can you tell us if the pin sliders and difficulty settings work properly in universe mode this time without having to go through hoops and loops to make it work? I want the sliders to work on what the Universe Mode creates for me, not having to set up every single show every single time. (I like to have the randomization of it instead of me putting everything in place and just watch cutscenes)

I enjoyed the Legacy and the Lock in the last game, missed WWE2k20 and 22, but this game seems too similar to 2k23 so will probably wait until it drops in price.
Also off topic, Bret Hart to me has always had the best attire
Completely different than 2K23 MyRise. You do get one male and one female story, but they are very different stories that are told from last year. If you liked Lock and Legacy, then I bet you will really enjoy this years stories as well.

GM mode is a blast. I love the exp system for "jobbers" and custom characters and the ability to spectate cpu games

i guess outside of the usa the WrestleMania content can be played right away when loading game in or downloading? in the usa on the 2k site it said the WM 40 year content will be announced at a later date. when we dont know but ppl paid all that money for it, not even knowing they cant play ir upon getting. asside of what was shown from bret pipper nad million dollar man i guess which is a mode int he general game? not much said of the WM mode that ppl paid a lot for which is truly disapointing

@@HighSparrow456at launch they’re gonna have issues, every game does and always has because everyone tries to get on at once. But 2k23 had pretty good servers so let’s hope this one does too
@@lightskinnedlarry728 not just launch bro 2k23 has server issues to this day it’s like they just said screw it onto the next game. If you play in online servers and someone leaves it would sometimes automatically make you fight bots. And I have a Ethernet cable and all so it’s not my internet.

I don’t understand how you can say the ambulance match in real life is boring but then in the game it’s exciting!?! Or even worse, how the ambulance match is fun because of the button smashing but the casket match is also boring….. even though it’s the same thing?!? Lmao whatever! Give it 6 months or less, and you'll start seeing how people really feel about the game, after the "new game" hype dies down.

Another round of making 7' tall cruiserweights and super heavyweights with lucha moves.
While I do love this game. The show case mode was one of the most frustrating and repetitive experiences I ever had in a game. I also wish Myuniverse had a bit more features but it just feels more of the same. Everything else is top notch though.

My only big flaw with this game is Showcase mode, which stands out because they’ve listened to us fans about a lot of things-but had their ears closed completely on here. Showcase mode still has zero commentary, and is so damn tedious. Let me do the match, just give me 4 or 5 objectives throughout. Plus 40 years of Mania with only 21 matches is a real letdown. I looked forward to this mode very much but it was a huge letdown. Also the soundtrack isn’t too great either. Outside of that it’s phenomenal.
