This song is wonderful; his voice and the tone are hypnotic. I do agree with you about the echoes choir that are perfect. The drummer is insane and yes the song is heavy and even if it's not! I dind't know them before last Thursday and I immediately fell in love! I'll listen them much much much more!
This is my absolute favorite song from them. And possibly one of my top 10 of all time favorite songs. I didnt even know who sleep token was 1 week ago and now they have utterly captured my attention.

Only discovered them this morning while seeing everyone reacting to it and was hooked instantly. I see a lot a poeple praising the singer, as it should be, but in my opinion, this drummer is as big a highlight as the singer. I loved how it's mixed emphasizing the drummer.
As a drummer I can't get enough of their music... It's just so perfect to my ears... The drums are very prominent and I can hear every little intricate thing he's doing while getting my ear bagels buttered by those THICC guitar riffs... Not to mention this like ever lasting / intriguing background ambience that underlies in a lot of their songs just ties everything in so perfectly.
But that's the thing that I love about this band. They've been going strong since 2017, and you'd think in this day and age someone would know who he is, and only a very select few actually know, and the people who DO know, have all collectively decided to just keep the man's trust and NOT reveal his identity. NO ONE has. And I think that is so SO incredibly amazing. Five-Six yeats down the line and NO ONE has figured out who any of them are, and those that do know have all collectively decided to just not reveal anything. Keep the mystery alive, but it's also just the fact that no one NEEDS to know. It's all about the music and the message, no one NEEDS to know who's behind it

If you know anything of the story behind Sleep Token, I'm fairly certain the vocal layering/harmonizing is representative of the Vessel and Sleep singing in union. If you're not aware of the story, Vessel is merely the physical, Sleep is a god as old as time who's name is not intelligible by human tongue, but closest represented by the word 'Sleep'. Sleep inhabits the physical Vessel after the events of the song 'The Offering'.
I was talking with a mate the other night. He described ii’s drumming style as sexy and I have to agree. So much style, confidence and taste in his playing. Sexy drumming for sure
Man it hurts knowing the vocalists old music project and loving all of the (very few) songs that they released and not being able to share them. I can guarantee that he is nobody you have heard of therefore there’s no satisfaction from knowing his name but I think this album will bring sleep token to a whole new level

Either way, never heard of this band/artist (can't tell from comments) definitely will look them up. Also my unsolicited two cents, I'm okay personally if you guys have to roll to blurred or no video; I can appreciate the additional context and visuals, but usually on a first play I'm paying more attention to the song and the discussion you guys have (particularly if it's something I haven't heard before). I get that deviates from the whole reaction style, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do though.

Fantastic fantastic band. I will say it is possible to find out who the singer is. I wont say out of respect for the band, but i do know who he is. It is not the guy from bastille, it isnt jordan hunt, and he isnt originally from the metal scene. His only work before sleep token was a 5 song ep with what you could call an electrofolk band. I also know who the drummer is and he isnt from another band either.
The band was so good, the drums the guitar 👌 may just be this song but I honestly found his voice a lil bit whiney? Like blink182 kinda whine? Great video lads 🤘
