    I have a suggestion for your chill spot, put a sliding door at the end, and extend your loft outside into a deck and used to lean to roof as a roof for the deck basically extending the roof of the shed out over the deck. That way you can triple the size of your chill spot.

    Dude seeing this shop come together has been one of the coolest long term projects i have ever watched on RUclips, by far. And this vending machine/ loft setup has got me even more excited to see you keep going with it to the very very end. I think the best part about it is that one, you dont cut corners and your doing it 100% how you want it/ the best way possible but also the fact that we can count on it happening. So many RUclipsrs get you excited about building shit then it just never comes or it takes fucking forever or they do a terrible job filming it or just half ass it. You on the other hand have actually set the goals, put the time and work into doing it and filming it well, then knocked them out one by one in a timely manner while also doing so many other cool smaller things in between and its just refreshing to see. So thank you for being the channel we can all count on for awesome video series like this. Between the shop/ house and property upgrades in general, the awesome car builds and the new bus build it makes me excited to watch literally anything you put out.👍👍👍

    One thing I learned, having helped a friend move his shop around a couple of times, is that using equipment rather than manual labor whenever possible, while it may not be as efficient, saves your energy and means your manpower is able and more willing to help. I think you should have stacked the lift to one side. You could drive through the two post straight onto the stacker. The center and other side would give more space on the floor for fab and still a loft.

    • @gotthumbs2235
      @gotthumbs2235 11 месяцев назад +1

      In hind-sight, I think you're right. Having the stack on the left would allow a larger loft space rather than spit and straight access for the cars to drive in.

Left side concrete and lean to for rv back side same thing. You could always put one car out back leaving the bottom under the stacker open and free space if you started needing more workspace with equipment. One thing I learned the hard way is you can’t always judge where the ceiling is and you can run the risk of damaging the roof of the car My solution was to hang a piece of 1 inch 1/2 x 7 feet white PVC about 6 inches be low the ceiling with this hanging there it catches you attention as soon as the car hits the pvc . Very helpful also if you pick the car up with the hood open . The hood hits the pvc be fore any damage occurs. Just a thought

    JEEZ thats a BIG move just to buy that thing. At 20,000 that lift is a nice car, but also one heck of a shop upgrade! Makes it easy to pull a car in and out with the back door too

    Instead of another mini split you could also add an exhaust fan at the top of the building to pull all the hot air out of the building. Awesome work as always

    The loft will be sick with a car being the center piece up there! Think you need to back the cars in as you'll be able to swing the front over.

    Apart from thanking R2, you really need to thank your 2 staff, who have worked hard for you, not only in this project, but in all avenues of your venture. Its a really nice lift.

      SO MUCH ROOM FOR ACTIVITIES!!!! you could make 2 floors of loft space either side if you needed too 👌 so impressed seeing the completed stacker. I was today years old when I realised you could even buy a triple stack!!

    This is soo cool especially once the loft is built. I don't know how doable it would be with the moving platforms but it would look really cool with some led lighting on each level to see the cars better like they are in a showcase

    Personally i would've put it off to one side one for easier access getting cars on and off and two to have a bigger footprint for the loft, three so you can make it a 3 story loft the top floor for holding stuff and the middle for the hang out area

    I would remove the top ramps off just incase they fall, I would also attach walls to the side of the car stacker so you have more walls

    This is sick, but I cant stop thinking about how it might be more efficient and spacious to move the stacker lift to one corner of the shop. Pull cars through one of the lifts to get on and off of it, bigger loft area, stuff like that lol.

    😂 lmfaoo! I looked back over to the tv after hearing some commotion! 😯 I looked back over almost dropping a nice chunk of roast chicken about to go on my roll (with some amazing gravy I must add) and seriously thought you were all panicking that the roller door or some other heavy dangerous item was about to fall on someone so I was a lil worried in the moment lol😂
    Then it just to be a little spider falling from the roof and or lift itself, with the reaction and looks on your faces is just 😂 absolutely priceless! There's almost as many spiders here in Aus as there is guns in the US!! Now that's a jump scare!!!😂💀💀

  • @johnventevogel7415
    @johnventevogel7415 11 месяцев назад

    The car vending machine is very cool!! I just think maybe having it more against the right wall would make more sense. It seems very hard to get cars off and on the rack because it is centered. If you put it on the right side you could drive right on. Not to mention that you could build the loft on the left side still.

    Try to move your compressor out side and any other equitment like it you will have alot of more space. You dont know how much space it takes up untill its out of the way
