Primary Polydypsia:= Hyponatremia, ADH normal,
Central DI= No ADH, Respond to water deprivation test & Desmopressin
Nephro DI= ADH insensitivity, doesn't respond to water deprivation test & Desmopressin

Question not sure if I have di I didn’t drink water for 12 hours went to hospital my urine gravity was 1.30i was thirsty and have been thirsty does this mean I don’t have diabetes insipidus

This video is about diabetes insipidus not diabetes mellitus. You might have prediabetes or diabetes mellitus if you have high blood sugar which would cause these symptoms

@@acingmedicine idk I'm seeing my endocrinologist he's doing a depravation test . I have alkalosis , thyrotoxicosis unspecified and some other weird diagnosis. But yeah maybe I don't have inspidus , not sure but some days I pee up to 20 or more times and my pee always retains a paler color even with sugary things it's terrible
