The other day I was making miso soup and mentioned to my husband I was making it "Sho style" (lots of ingredients, all dumped in at once). He laughed and told me I needed to tell you our favorite soup is named after you. Our miso soup is now "Sho style!"
Good to see you are ok. That sushi looked delicious. And fish so fresh!.Dinner was yummy too Some of the allies in the bar districtvare soo narrow.. Champon was tempting. I looked up recipe. It is surprising how Chinese restaurants in the world adapt to local taste. I was friend with a german lady in Holland who was married to a Chinese and they had a chinese restaurant. One year she invited me for Chinese New Year and I was surprised how the same dishes I had at their restaurant tasted totaly diferent .Those were original dishes..And the city looked great bathing in the sun.. Thank you for another great video. Cheers
How cool, sushi arriving on a mini Shinkansen! I hope that the typhoon leaves your home and Nagasaki without damage. As always, thank you for your video.
I also grind my coffee beans in the morning, enough for the whole day, but I don't use a filter, I put the ground coffee in a cup and pour hot water over it. Sometimes I add butter or coconut oil, sweet cream and ground cinnamon. I stir well and wait a few minutes. Part of the coffee melts and part settles to the bottom of the cup. One cup has 330 milliliters, that is 11 US fl oz, I usually drink it three times a day. Grüße aus Deutschland. 😊
@@chinoyhealingfoodstravels8888 omg, Redondo Beach Pier used to be my favorite spot for seafood and just chill on the weekends. Great memories, happy Labor Day.
7:52 looks like the front of a Dutch house, like in Amsterdam. One can see the Dutch influence even in this neighborhood. 10:01 I am not a resident of Nagasaki, but if I were, I would say: NO THANK YOU to this redevelopment! Nice slice of your life in Nagasaki. Thanks.
You inspired me to try making Miso soup. The ingredients are a little difficult to find here in my part of the USA. But I found some on Amazon. Veggies are no problem. Turned out pretty good for an American!
hello linagasaki, there is soup with rice and his meat is 4 pcs of yellowtail and salmon. wondering if nissin or nongshim is on your menu. thank you for your cooking. el-
Thanks Sho 👍. Sushi on a miniature bullet train. Must be fast service there 😂 I know you like enoki mushrooms. Have you ever tried bouquet enoki or wild enoki mushrooms?
I love your walking tours. Have you worn through any sneakers from walking so much? I hope they leave the drinking district as it is. I think it’s charming. Do restaurants with touch screens have the option of changing the language to English? I’d be so lost looking at a menu in all Japanese. I hope you remain safe as the typhoon passes through.
I walk so much that my sneakers wear out quickly 🤣. There are some places with touch screens that support English (though not all of them)! The typhoon is passing through right now. I'll be careful!
When I was in Japan,I really enjoyed visiting as much as I can to see the Temple and get a stamp for my Temple book..I did it all around Tokyo and Shikoku...plus visit the castles...I was always amazed how steep the incline of the stairs were....even in some houses...
I see tatami mats needs constant caring....I see the japanese school cleaning protocol lie deep in one's being...never afraid to get down onto the floor and wipe clean the wooden floors...
Since North America there always someone else cleaning your mess when going up...but since my parents were Japanese, they taught to clean our rooms since we were kids...and clean the hallways plus the floors of living spaces....when I see my friends their parents did most of the cleaning...
Hoping you get thru the typhoon without any trouble..stay safe..In the USA, if you travelled those dark alleys, you would possibly get robbed, stabbed or shot or all three😢
Hello, Sho-san🖐🏼🖐🏼🖐🏼I absolutely love your channel. However, if you do not want to smile or show your face, please do not. I would hate to see you being forced to do something because you think we would like it. If you do not enjoy it, do not do it. We will still continue to watch you whatever you decide to do❤❤❤
please can we have a famous thumbs up after you come out of your bathroom when you have just been to the toilet ? (P.S your thumbs up are getting a bit sloppy , a swift movement of the arm up and down ).
The quietness and solitude is amazing

These sushi looks really delicious .I assumed fish slices put on top of them tasted freshly since Nagasaki is a harbour city nearby the sea

Thank you, Sho, for another great video! I never get tired of seeing Nagasaki!
Great content and editing. Thanks for sharing
When you make the drip coffee try laying 2 chop sticks across the pot and rest the defuser on them to brew the coffee.

In case anyone wants to know? That sushi 🍣 cost about 7 dollars, and 75 cents in U.S. dollars!! What a deal 😮😮

I really enjoyed the video because one of my dreams is to visit Japan 🇯🇵❤ but Sho why the city seems empty ? there is only few people
Hello! Thank you for watching. It might be because I’m trying to avoid recording in crowded places.

No I haven't. The "bouquet enoki (enoki mushrooms wrapped in meat?)" looks delicious!! 😆
