I would like to put peel and stick flooring down.can I put this right on the dircore or do i need plywood in-between? Also Should I waterproof the plywood?
How deep into the concrete should the Concrete Screw go? Note: (Storage room) We are using the 3/4 inch Dricore subfloor system. The next project will be the entire basement installation will be the insul-armor, which has a very unlevel floor.
I have asked this a few times of people who do this for a living and the older ones say no and the younger says it’s fine. I think in the past it was a hard no due to screws breaking as a structure settles and shrinkage and expansion due to seasons and this caused the screws to weaken and eventually break after a few years. Now screws are almost a bespoke item to manufactures with screws that are tailored to specific things. I personally as a home DIYer cause I own several 100 year homes that need constant attention and I specifically use Spax screws for everything now. I get them at Home Depot but I have no clue if they exclusive to HD but I have never noticed them in my local Lowes. In the past 5 years I probably used thousands of this brand and literally I have never had a single one mess up. For example let’s say rounding the head off and yes not a single one. They have a star like top and they put a new one in every box of their screws. Try them on your next project.
I already have walls on the concrete, how do I make the joint where the subfloor meets the drywall?

Can a ramset be used instead of tapcons?
only if you are prepared to hammer the exposed fastener oncer the nail is fired. all fasteners must be flush before moving forward. Cheers!
Is it ok to screw down 3/8'' plywood over Dricore instead of nailing it down?

"Circular saw or Jig saw"... shows table saw.
can I place a baseboard on the smart wall after installing the floor?
definitely. there is no electrical chase close to the ground so feel free to pop in some brad nails to finish.
"smart wall "
"High iq floor"
lol
I'm not sure I would be comfortable tiling on that with the way you described it to be fastened to the floor.
Now how about an install video for the Insul-Armor?
