I Got an XLT a few days ago but I sure would like to get one of these next time. Didn’t think much of Ford but I drove one and I was hooked. Feels like I’m driving my couch very comfy.
I had a 2010 Lariat Supercab, and I upgraded to a 2017 Lariat Sport pkg in the abyss grey color with the 2.7 Ecoboost twin turbo engine. I freakin LOVE the thing!!!

My dad has a 2017 Ford F-150 and it handles very nicely it has a black leather interior and it’s beautiful and I’m pretty sure he has the sport package too
Considering and f150 specifically because of the aluminum construction. Anytime I’ve gotten a new truck it’s never been the drivetrain wearing out it’s been due to rust eating the truck away.
how is it that a 2019 f250 lariat sport fully loaded at 72k, 62k after negotiations, didnt come with led headlamps, fogs, nor led tail lights because 'the sport option removes that", yet this truck has it all and it aint even fully loaded yet.
Sport Package does not remove LED Headlamps, Tail light or fog lights. Sport Package only adds body color bumpers. You have to get 502A Equipment Group (thats on F150) to get full LED lightning and Panoramic Sunroof. It all depends which equipment group you have on your truck. For referance F150 Lariat Sport Package with I believe 500A or 501A equipment group wont have LED lightning but like I said with 502A you will ... 502A Group on regular pickups its like 802A on the Raptor. XLT's have 300A, 301A and 302A

I am new to this channel but, I just wanted to say I love the camera angle on the driving part of the review. I am thinking about getting back into the truck scene and the F150 is on my list of possibilities. Then, it's the Sierra and Ram 1500's
to be fair the OEM STX grille is closer to $800 brand new, not $300. personally i do think it does look better than the Lariat grille (even the color-matched sport version) and the color stitched interior is an awesome touch. another big component is the special edition headlight housing, which sell for $2000-2500 OEM for some reason - IMO, with the grille, that makes the package worth it on it's own ($1995) even if you opt to delete the decal and accented interior.
I love the V8 but took the Ecoboost for a test drive last week and I was impressed. In fact so much that I am looking at getting this model but in a different colour soon. Everyones got there own opinion about the engine but I enjoy the ecoboost alot
Regular Lariat without Sport Package will come with chrome bumpers with sport package you get body color bumpers. FX4 Package gives you extra skid plate under the body and little better shocks which are still crap compare to Fox, Icon or King.
Idk but I love the stx girl a lot better than the upper trims with that two strip going across the grill ..I don't like the center shifter Can a lariat or higher trim be made withe a shifter on the steering column like a normal truck ?
In the engine lab we measure torque in Ft. LBS. As apposed to inch. LBS. I just can't get use to lbs Feet. Sounds like a Fred Flintstone measurement for their foot operated car. Just a modern irritation.
So ford is the best because it has more engine options when most of the are v6.And best in class mpg I don’t get it has a 5.0 liter v8 it won’t consume a lot of gas not just that it has small gear ratios that’s what makes it fuel efficient
My pops has a 2015 f-150 lariat 5.0 and there’s not a damn difference 4 years later in these trucks. He got his for 45k got it in 2016 to get all those rebates. Nice trucks but not worth 62k for a v6 engine. This is the problem with the whole truck industry. You can’t have a new model every single year and expect changes.
Yeah if I ever bought a Ford (which I wont) it would have a V8. But I heard those are sufferimg from oil consumption. So I will continue to avoid Ford.
This price its before current Ford's rebates. Depending on your area after the rebates and before little bit of more dealing with your sale parson those trucks sell for $52-54K
