    Emotional availability is a vital ingredient for fostering deep, meaningful connections. Recognizing the signs of your own emotional unavailability is the first step towards liberation. Whether it's avoiding vulnerability or experiencing discomfort in intimate moments, these signs serve as guideposts on our journey of self-awareness. Understanding that emotional availability transcends mere physical presence is essential; it's about being fully present emotionally, capable of both expressing feelings and empathetically receiving others' emotions. By acknowledging these signs and delving into the true essence of emotional availability, we lay the groundwork for transformative growth.
    The path to emotional availability demands introspection and a willingness to confront entrenched patterns. Through therapy, mindfulness practices, and self-reflection, we can begin to untangle the knots that bind our hearts. It's about rewiring our emotional responses, breaking free from the fear and insecurity that have held us captive. As we journey inward, we learn to embrace vulnerability as a strength, forging connections rooted in authenticity and trust.     Ultimately, becoming emotionally available leads us to the sanctuary of secure love. Secure love is not without its challenges, but it thrives on a foundation of mutual respect, trust, and understanding. By nurturing emotional availability within ourselves, we create fertile ground for love to blossom. It's a journey that transcends the bounds of romantic relationships, enriching every facet of our lives. As we embrace vulnerability and authenticity, we pave the way for deeper connections, fostering a world where love flows freely and unconditionally.

    I’m a new subscriber. This was fantastic!! You’ve taught me things about intuition versus fear that I’ve always wondered. I also love how you mentioned our body is involved with all this as well. It’s never made sense to me how it could be all just mind or thought based. On that note, I read a phenomenal book called: AnxietyRx by Dr. Russel Kennedy. Dr. Kennedy is an intuitive somatic practitioner, anxiety specialist, and neuroscientist.(I’m not being compensated for mentioning this book. I genuinely am a fan of it.) Anyway, please keep up the phenomenal work! I resonate so deeply with what you teach!! It’s amazing and makes a ton of sense to me.
    P.S. I’m going to listen to this again because it was so informative!

    wow, Amy. this video hit a nerve. or let me say pressed all the right buttons. finnaly realised what trauma depression can have. been on meds for 20 years now but realise i need to see a therapist to release bad energy. love from South Africa

      I stopped taking Zoloft after about ten years last October, started therapy and mindfulness practices and let me tell ya I have never felt better. I think I assumed it was something I’d just have to take forever. I sort of identified with my sadness. I of course get sad still - it was a rough winter - but learning to cope and experiencing the full range of emotions again including awe and joy has been amazing. Im in the midst of a spiritual awakening after such a dark period. I’ve had so many people tell me how I look like I’m glowing ever since I started doing the inner work and I’ve been able to release the past. I’ve also lost 50lbs since last fall and for the first time wasn’t even trying to lose weight- when the mind and spirit is healthy the body follows. I really wish you the best 🙏.

    What confuses me is . . All my actions are loving but the feeling is missing , why is this as i try so hard to feel love and all i feel is numb . Why is this ?
